We had an ATH 24 hours ago, Dude.

I, for one, find all of this thrilling.  Cheesy

When I looked at my balance this morning my hands started to shake a little. I might have had a mild stroke. IDK.

Then I'd tell you to take that red pill and cram it right up your ass.

The red pill comes in all shapes and sizes.  Get 'er in ya.

Open competition is great for the 1% that are already rich.

Not exactly

The very rich tend to subvert open competition through regulatory capture and corruption.  This is the double edged sword of the State; it might seem like a tool to control the power of the robber barons, but soon enough they find a way to control it, at which point you find all the powers you have naively invested in the State wielded against you.

I find it quite amusing that the debate has degenerated to deliberately calling one variant of bitcon versus the other by the wrong name.

If you look at all naysayer or troll posts, no matter what the argument they are presenting, they all boil down to one and only thing.

To try to get you to not buy Bitcoin and hold it.

Why would they care about you so much?

LOL, because it's all fucking fun and games when bitcoin is some small cap pump and dump so it doesn't really matter what happens to it then, but when the market cap is pumped to the moon so high that the market is larger than wal mart and 10x higher than silver while having garbage fundamentals compared to metals, yet people are still trying to force this garbage onto people claiming it should be the world reserve currency, then it becomes a problem for everyone.  It's not decentralized, it's not fungible, every transaction is monitored, it's not even a real commodity.  Trying to force this crap onto people is like financial terrorism because it's just going to be a federated chain controlled by the govt in the end.
I notice you failed to answer the question. In fact, we all noticed.

This is a collection of some of the most intelligent people on the planet. You are going to have to do far better than that.

righties prefer freedom and open competition, even if they lose in the end.

Open competition is great for the 1% that are already rich.
I was not rich, and yet that was my mentality. I was on welfare before bitcoin, and now I have fuck you money.

It's a matter of basic axioms. Lefties are weak and they know it so they want to rely on someone to care for them. Righties are strong and they know, instinctively, that they are strong, so they want to compete.

That doesn't mean they, We, always win. But the probability is high, so we go for it.

Just got an email from Bitfinex threatening to report people to police if they sign up from the US with fake credentials. As if I wanted to user their shady hacked exchange that badly. Good riddance.

They just want to make sure they have the least possible number of current US victims so the US government does not intervene.  Roll Eyes
Unfortunately for them, they have plenty of past US victims. I'm sure the statute of limitations has not run out, yet.

In the case of Bitfinex, whatever any government's justice system doles out to them would not be justice, it would be mercy; since it would be better than what they actually deserve. Grin
