successful bitcoiners[/b] who daytrade.
daytrading works on high volatility days when crashes and corrections occur. If the price is making 15%+ swings, this will give you enough room to pay your commissions and have a margin of error to make mistakes and still profit. How much did you make daytrading (y-t-d), and how much could you have made doing something else? I made 5btc just now on that correction. What platform do you trade?

Well, I guess I'm not very good at this. I bought back in maybe two hours after starting to sell... Just can't part with my bitcoins. I dont need the money ive invest in BTC, my plan is to keep it some years. The question is if the price crash and drops 50% i would win the double selling and buying at smaller price. I would have 2x BTC when the price rises again..
Tell me when you have it. Dreamer. There is no one in the whole forum who has succeeded in that, however easy it sounds. I started online trading 15 years ago and have twice in my life been able to increase the number of BTC by more than 2%. Even that beats the average. For the record, I made about 0.5%... do not recommend. Risto is right. I believe that the only moment in which is kind of trivial to increase ones BTC stash is bear market, but nevertheless is trickier than it seems. My experience is that I managed to increase my stash by almost 50% from April 10th to June, then I blew almost all that profit by making lousy investments (cRipple and ASiC that will never have a positive BTC ROI). Buy on the dips, hold and just sell 10% when you already made a x100 unrealized profit. Forget about risk management, only sound strategy with BTC is "invest everything you can afford to lose". By constantly day trading you will end up with less coins, guaranteed.

Were there actually any whales dumping? Didn't notice to see if there were any 500/1000 BTC dumps. I just saw a lot of small (50 btc) dumps.
50btc are the new whales (snort!) Oh, craps, you are right. When I started, kilo was the basic unit and 10k was called a wall.

Oh my! this baby can definitely approach $1,000 When it corrects and bounces with so much support, the growth is stronger afterwards.

Did i read that right!?..... "Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve, is also weighing in on the hearing, saying that it has no plans to regulate the currency. “Although the Federal Reserve generally monitors developments in virtual currencies and other payments system innovations, it does not necessarily have authority to directly supervise or regulate these innovations or the entities that provide them to the market,” Bernanke wrote in a letter to the committee."

It's true. I came to realize I don't WANT to cover my initial investment, because I still believe Bitcoin is a good one. I'm going to be in the audience for this crash. 100x sounds good.

Im scared lol
been at this 1 month mining 21 coins....hmmm......may have to take any coin I get put in paper wallet USB and place far away in safe deposit box in a bank......if I plan to just hoard.....this is like trying to take a break from women at the playboy mansion....restraint man restraint..... crap its only been 1 month of this for me no wonder everyone on here is insane my current thought is ..when they have the U.S. House hearings on BITCOIN tomorrow ie 11/18....how nuts is all this gonna go if the hearing goes WELL I mean we all know it will correct downward if it turns into a fiasco of press and the evil of bitcoin to bounce back up... but what if....what if.....it ends in a really POSITIVE note ...I mean how NUTS will it be price rise wise if that is the case with 600 usd as a jump off point and bitcoin gets 'stamped for approval" if even only temporarily? jeez..it could hit $1000 in a week if they came back light handed on regulation and glowing in their recommendations... hmmm re-read the above ...yeah ..that an't gonna happen right? You have to just sit back and laugh. Take a zen attitude about loss. The planet is gyrating, at times violently, in the death throes of the old system.

So I go to sleep for a few hours and - wtf just happened??? If I wasn't able to look at a chart of the last few hours and see the rise to 618 and correction to 531 and then climb again, then all I would know is that I went to sleep when Gox was 520 and woke up to see 580 - which wouldn't have been surprising at all, just normality for the last week
