China looks like its about to push up again. Weird the way the market prices are way out of balance yet their movements stay in step with each other.

I think China is dead actually  Roll Eyes

How can anyone be bullish by looking at this chart?
Because they're looking at a mtgox chart instead which has a higher 2nd low and thinking "oh this is just like April when it crashed to 50 and then to 78. Now were due for a rally to 900."

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Well, the turbulence has certainly quieted down (relatively) I would imagine if the news was really as totally catastrophic as we had imagined the Chinese would have already mass panic to zero, but they haven't so maybe what is really happening is that the exponential growth of bitcoin has been capped, but it's long term potential has not. Hard to clearly say, but good news about bitcoin continues elsewhere so...

It is going up in the short-term only to go even lower by next week or so. We are eventually headed to the $400-$500 level - maybe slightly lower.

Probably much, much lower, now that the absolute worst has been confirmed by sources and by official PBOC statements.  Get out now.

This is much more like 2011 than April imo, at this point I'm really expecting to see >200 on btc-e at least.. the only thing that could save the price now is something like PayPal accepting Bitcoin Tongue

Do you really expect anyone he to actually translate that and read it. Its super long like 6 paragraphs and would require a amazing attention span, and also the ability to create insight into the future... Better to just speculate off speculation

The google-translated version of the text at that link does not even mention bitcoin or virtual currencies.

While the document you linked is scary official looking, and in chinese so nobody can really read it easily, a google translate shows that this document doesn't even mention bitcoin or anything related to policy, it just mentions the characteristics of deposits int foreign currency and basically is a financial report on what happened with the bank in october..... not sure what we are supposed to extrapolate from this information.
