In order to use media to make trade decisions you would need to speak every world language fluently, subscribe to thousands of media formats and read them daily.

I do keep up with a part of the media that matters to me but I try to do some researches before making any decision,  I also look at the development around Bitcoin and that matters the most to me, in fact it matters to me more than just speculating about the price to try to catch some small gains in short term, although I try sometimes to jump in here and there but just for the fun of it.

the price indicate a part of the successes...

I believe you can blindly guess the price and trade on that as effectively as you can watch the media and attempt to forecast the interpretation of news events by the masses.

Sorry to all I was not faithful on fulfilling my BTC to escrow. Had a major issue yesterday, where I'm currently at was hit with the biggest snowstorm in over 10+years on top of artic vortex temperatures... what ever that means. had to fulfill family obligations over BTC. If any ones still interested I can send after work today. doubt it though seeing as everyone is scared. Damnit... Ohh well will still make a killing as I know where the botttom is. As you all can now see coins are crashing as I correctly predicted. 750 will be coming soon. sorry to all the Bitcointalk members I placed bets with.

Shut up butthead, Coinbull.

I am Coinholio...

Hmm. I've just had an idea for a new alt-coin

I have to agree, speculation based on rumours/news or t/a's are fun, but what really matters is development to me,

Using proveofexistence.com today was a better experiance then the price shooting up over the weekend!

Bitcoins dropping down Shocked, wonder how deep... hope to buy in again at ~500$
I would shoot for around 700-750 range 500 is deff posible though

Since you denied the previous bet , now that the snowstorm passed , are you willing to take one for the 500?
I  did not purp

I did puposefully denied the bet, will still take at 750... no 500 is a little low

At the original timeframe, sure.  So a little under 24 hours left right?

Looking forward to hearing your excuse.

Richy, still willing to escrow this?  Coinbull made the bet, I don't see how a snowstorm changes anything about the timeframe, right?

Just put him on ignore, he is pretty much confirmed troll who doesnt even have 1 btc

Will do eventually, just rubbing in the embarrassing welching part a bit first Wink

In my opinion, for this to be a "bull trap" and not a continuation of the upward rally from October, prices need to go below 380. Right??!! Otherwise this correction down from 1240 was a bear trap.

semantic arguments aside, i only call it a bulltrap because it is clear that the recent price gains were unsustainable and liable to be retraced in the coming weeks.

600s is not a retracement!! That's my point. 380 is a retracement. That is a HUGE difference.

well i apologize for the miscommunication then, it is a matter of different time scales.

Hello?

CoinBull's back?

What's all this about the worst blizzard in 10 years Coinbull?

CoinBull what do you have to say for yourself?
My coins froze???

Doesn't matter about the escrow of course. Our honesty doesn't rely on an escrow. If by tomorrow at 07:02:14 PM (GMT +1) the price has touched $750 on GOX I will send you 1 BTC. I expect you to send me 1 BTC if this has not happened. This is all as agreed yesterday. Thanks.

Not particularly, but it's not exactly new information either is it.

Got to say I'm pretty surprised at the sky is falling talk in here over the last 12 hours.   Just woken up and read through the last 7 pages or so.   Some of you guys should know better by now.  We have little drops all the time, and then little raises, rinse and repeat.    We all know it's heading up in the long term.

Chill.

Extremely. But only in an ideal situation where there was a clean break. Otherwise those will short-sighted vision will likely be perturbed by China's ongoing presence and panic that Bitcoin is handicapped in some way which is of course just unfounded fear at this stage.

yeah, the newbs need to stop going around finding news to justify price movements. market forces are generally much more powerful on the mid-term scale anyway. what we're seeing is a healthy mid-term correction to a very large bulltrap. this shouldn't be news to anyone, although i know many didn't believe it when it was mentioned on the way up.

--arepo

Arepo at what price and for how many days does this apparent downtrend have to continue until the "very large bulltrap" is healthily corrected (I mean it's got to be to a minimum of touching what, $650 or something and overall last a couple of weeks minimum right?) ? Please can you be specific so we can see your method at work. I will be the first to congratulate you when we see the results.

+1

Haven't followed him up recently but Arepo had lot of bullshit calls back in April.

April-May of this past year? that was when my methods finally started working consistently Tongue i wrote up a price report to great avail and my customers were very satisfied. i, myself, made 350% returns during the course of that period.

i will concede that my work before that time period was very error-prone, however. i've been following bitcoin for 2.5 years and have been improving steadily along the way. do you have any specific qualms about my current analysis?

yep, 2013.

I haven't checked that one and I'm not really big fan of TA, just remember you had lot of wrong calls in short term analysis though being as confident as today Cheesy

having been around for so long, i think you might be remembering when i was a bear around October-November 2012, in the runup to the April bubble. that was a particularly wrong call, but then again i have learned a lot since then. not meaning to be confrontational, but when you make claims like the one you just did the onus probandi is on you, and i'd appreciate it if you at least linked to some of my allegedly questionable work. i'm certainly not going to go digging just to defend my reputation from an offhanded comment..

not even that being wrong invalidates one's trustworthiness. showing a resistance to learning from one's mistakes is another story.

guess the price is a kind of troll  Cheesy  but guess the market sentiment and try to guess what direction is the market heading is what I will go for, and BTW whoever tells you that sentiment and news, adoption rate.. are not important in this market is really delusional! this is not wall street when you have professional brokers that can guess moves based on calculations, you have 80% regular people who never traded before playing around the unpredictable by nature bitcoin, you just fart and a panic sell starts, you post a peace of good news and price to da moon and this is exactly what some members are trying to trigger here...

also, there is really few people here who use a logic and common sense, others they go with what there desire points, if they are full in BTC you will hear "choo choo, buy buy, to da moon..." if they are part or all in FIAT you will hear " bitcoin will crash any moment, it is a dead cat bounce , double top, bubble.."
