I am so fucking pissed at this bitch right now. She could as well ask for banning all fiat money because dealers on the streets use it... Some people are insanely idiots. That bitch has only her son to blame, and maybe herself. If the punk wanted coke, he would get coke anyway, with or without btc.

Any idea when it will go out of beta?
I had to try it, and actually it works already. I made an account, deposited with credit card and bought some BTC "stocks", very painless process. If it is beta, it doesn't mean it is not working Works fine. The price is from MtGox it seems, so quite high. Yes, it's Gox. The worst part for me is that orders are going through once a day only so you don't have idea at what price you're going to buy/sell.

I'm especially annoyed because I'm in Australia and I know just how often we see policy change based on knee jerk reactions, I mean our state premier recently announced a shark cull despite all kinds of protests because some people have been killed recently - here we are hassling Japanese about their whaling but at least they eat the whale meat, we're going to kill sharks so we can play in the surf - ie. we'll be killing for fun. From what I've read she doesn't even understand it, saying that the exchange that sold him bitcoin actually transacted with the drug dealer on his behalf.

The worst part for me is that orders are going through once a day only so you don't have idea at what price you're going to buy/sell. According to what I can find on their web the orders will be executed 4 times a day (translated from spanish) ATTENTION TO ALL THE COMMUNITY: $ BTC, habis already grabbed released in Beta mode, is now an official instrument etoro. The virtual currency works as ACCION, ie you do not buy and sell Bitcoins, but the CFD. Because of its volatility, the implementation of this action will take place in four packs a day at the following times (all GMT): 6:00 am, 12:00, 18:00 and 00:00 from Monday to Friday (special hours holidays). The great advantage of this system is safety, and that not having the Bitcoins physically speaking, not the hack may or may mislead, but if you can enjoy the profits from the price speculation. Any questions you have about $ BTC in eToro, do it here!

Something's changed, this bearish trend makes no sense and the FUD machine's going in new directions. If its being manipulated we're due some panic-stimulating rolling dumps but this looks more like preparation for damage control, anything happening that could cause panic in the fiat world?
The price is still too high. With huobi closing @ january 31 the price will drop. 550-650$ is the target, that's approx 50% of the ATH. It could even go as low before the chinese bubble, but that's highly unlikely.

Do you have any actual verifiable information that Houbi will be closing on Jan 31?

Do you have any actual verifiable information that Houbi will be closing on Jan 31? I have my doubts as to how far price will drop for whatever reason, mainly since we have been drifting further from Chinese influence and more people are adopting every day also looking for cheap coins. I think this helps establish a floor higher than we might expect from FUD like the Aussie mom nonsense, China, dumb American journalists who are merely echo chambers, weekend hangovers, whatever.

Does anyone know why Huobi has dropped far more in the past several hours compared to the other exchanges? It's gone from something like $850 to $800 whereas the bitstamp/btc-e have dropped from about $840 to $815. It seems this wouldn't have too much to do with the bad news yesterday about Huobi's deposit options since that seemed affect all the exchanges about the same for a few hours after it was announced, but maybe I'm wrong about that.

Oxygen thief, good riddance. What an idiot the mother is, I don't understand it; therefore ban it and blame it for taking my child away from me. It obviously has nothing to do with being an average parent
