I wonder when we'll finally break the top line... April? May?

June 2019 is as good a guess as any

Agreed - and it's gonna be pretty low by then.

Yeah well the idea is the price gets trapped between the 200 Weekly MA (purple line) and the downtrend.  It is left with nowhere to go so gets forced up and breaks the downtrend.  But the price is still around the same level as it is today - it just tracks sideway in a range of $3250 - $4,000.

Incompetent children rushing i.e. forcing a fork. #Decentralized smart contracts. Roll Eyes

Thanks for sharing, indeed a worthwhile tweet storm. Seen some of the quotes before, but interesting when all put together.
Whenever someone uses Satoshi's Vision as a counter argument you can automatically assume that they've lost. This is science, not a religion. The tweet storm was nicely written.

I posit August.

March-ish will be the bottom. As stated previously here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg48084368#msg48084368

Edit:
Since people like pictures to tell the story.

24-hour average.

1 year between those parallel lines.

before the top line intersects this line:
xbt price = 10^(.096237*sqrt(days since Sept 22 2010) - 1.6295)

Still in Hong Kong, I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. I couldn't find any place that accepts BTC as payment.
Yes there are ATMs but you really have to look hard for them. Hong Kong is definitely not a Bitcoin paradise... yet.

Anyway, today I found 2+1 of those machines. Why 2+1 ? You'll see in the last pics.

I went near the famous Victoria's Peak.

In a small shopping arcade on Tit Shu St.
This is the first time I see someone other than me using one of those ATMs here.

That's not me !

Pretty cool

The last ATM was at Garden Meow, another cafe.
And there I saw something unexpected.

I love your 'feet on the ground' exploration of the Hong Kong BTC scene.

In respect of the Lightning Network I stumbled on this article:  https://www.theblockcrypto.com/2019/01/15/the-growth-of-the-lightning-network-has-been-remarkable-but-theres-a-catch/

Conclusion: a bit of centralisation going on in terms of network capacity, but the area is still young  Kiss

This is the scenario I see as most likely. But I won't rule out a final capitulation event, crashing below 200 WMA and coming back above it in short order.
It would feel weird to end a cycle without that. Kind of like watching a film with a deeply unsatisfactory ending like The Birds or Contact.

Just bought 0.14BTC

It’s not a lot but I’m adding to my stash every month whilst we’re in this sideways range. I have a number of BTC in my mind that I’m desperate to reach before the next bull run begins.

Weeee! I just got paid $4300 for the inherited land. It was double than what I expected because of some error in my favour of the parameters in the documents. Now waiting for the money to arrive at CB. Then with no hesitation I will hit the button for a direct buy, I love to do that!  Grin I know that this sum is ridiculously small for many in this forum, but I am happy to increase my modest low 2 digit stash with 2BTC in a month. At these prices I could buy with my fucking salary in the shittiest country in the world only 2BTC in a year! My decision has always been to ignore the market pumps and dumps (I am not that good to predict esp. the dumps) and wait 2-3 years for my first sale. I hope to be able to buy a villa at the beach with part of my stash by then. I still have a firm belief that we will make it to 30K-40K range by then. We shall see.

I don't think anyone cares about Bakkt one way or another at this point.

What ever happened to everyone who was pouring their tiny hopes into bakkt and etf bringing about the early 2019 bullrun? Y hopium gone?

among the Mad Hatters Tea Party posts.

I don’t think anybody here criticises fellow WO posters for increasing their stash no matter how big or small it is.
Lots have more BTC than you but I guarantee lots have less too.

Keep buying & we will be rewarded. Congrats to you on the sale & soon to increase your HODL pile Smiley

Weeeeeee!

Yeah everyone has their own strategy!

Me I work on the forum and just store everything. I got paid weekly for campaign management and I never sell a mBTC (though I sometimes use it xD )

Some people dedicate 5% of their salary every month.

And some people like to go buying 5BTC from times to times when they have some dump money.

But as long as you have an accumaltion strategy you can only get the support of the community Cheesy

What's going on here?

I was thinking about using this service, but all I can see is this....
Did anyone of you use it before?
Did you get anywhere with this? I see you write in German. Localbitcoins is famously banned in Germany?
It's good anyway if you make a fake account and don't cuck yourself generally (kyc)
