Litvinenko's poisoning in London with Polonium was a not dissimalar MO.  One must ask cui bono, surely?

Wait. You believe Putin would poison someone with Polonium in the UK while having him stabbed by a random hobo in a botched 'hit 'n run' would have the same effect? Do you think Putin is retarded? Emotional? He has always seemed the most intelligent and emotionally composed of all world leaders so that seems rather silly.

I think you have been drinking the western cool-aid a bit to much. What's next? You also think Brexit is bad and that there's any evidence for human caused global warming?  Cheesy
Not the same effect at all. never mind the dead guy. the point is to humiliate the brits and warn Putin's enemies. wouldn't work if there was doubt about the method and perpetrator of the execution.

1.  I am loosely aware of Brexit planning goiing on at some companies I work with.  They are quietly panicking and restructuring head office out of U.K.  The damage is happening right now as high paid white collar jobs move offshore. I am seeing it with my own eyes in real time.

2.  Yes global warming is real.   Science is also real. Math too.

3.  I don’t know shit about the Skripals but I do know that Putin doesn’t give a damn about human rights and will happily kill anyone that presents the faintest threat.

Yes they really needn't be panicking - very damaging all that emotionality. They need some decent long-term planners.

Virus Targeting Bitcoin Miners Spreading in China

https://www.trustnodes.com/2019/01/21/virus-targeting-bitcoin-miners-spreading-in-china

"A virus targeting bitcoin miners is apparently spreading in China with tens of thousands of dollars lost according to local media.

The virus appears to be targeting Bitmain’s antminers specifically with the hacker demanding 10 btc or the mining gear would be overheated.

The virus, however, can be eliminated by formatting the SD card of the infected miners which is somewhat similar to re-installing an operating system.

Yet that process can take four days during which an entire farm might be down as once a miner is affected, then it quickly spreads to all other miners."

Oh yes those poor guys are way behind the City. And on their property bubbles too. Probably worth a punt, thanks.
Mind you, Frankfurt Main Finance has estimated that the total assets held by domestic and international banks in in the city will rise by more than a fifth as €750- €800bn in assets are shifted across.
it's gonna take a lot more than that sort of pocket lint to make it a thing.
So much for the FT making Nikkei appear like a decent media group, it's just another anti-Brexit fluff piece.

(Not a criticism here Ken.) Mentioned this last week https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg49226650#msg49226650 (it didn't get any traction.)
Fascinating though how slowly these stories reverberate around, getting picked up and re-presented. must be a quiet news day for the 'press'

I did not want to publish because I did not find it legitimate.
But in official document and in the organization chart if it talks about Bitcoin.

It is possible that Skripals presented a threat to people who "disappeared" them.

If they see your car they know who you are and where you live, unless you use dummy cars...
"They" are normal people. If the state really wants to find me they will, but no reason to just hand everything over. Let them spend a dime on it.

Lotsa talk on Twitter today how blockchain analytics is just a scam to rip off law enforcement agencies because it doesn’t actually work.

I've considered creating some sort of honey pot paid access guide on how to do XYZ illegal thing. Charge a couple thousand dollars to access it. Then just let law enforcement pay to access it to collect their evidence. Only to find that it's just cat pics.

I was thinking the same honeypot for journalists but they don't actually research anything, they'd just report that it exists without ever checking it out.

However, this stuff has about as much credibility as the assertion the moon landings were faked.

The 'question the moon landing' movement was started right during 9/11 and promoted by Jewish media outlets like Fox News.  It's purpose was to act as a red herring and distract people from 9/11 being a joint Israeli, Saudi, and US govt operation.  The 201x 'flat earth' movement was a similar govt operation to attempt to distract people from investigating things like the Wikileaks email dumps with mass evidence of high level govt employees and contractors like Dyncorp being involved in child sex trafficking, the criminal Jewish media & banking system monopolies, etc.

The irony here is C0bra just keeps being wrong.

He was wrong to think BCH was a good idea in the first place, and he is wrong it will be worth 0 "in a few years".  As long as people mine it it will have some value, idiotic as that may be.

The fact he has made both of these fundamentally simple mistakes really says something IMHO.

But nevermind all that... now he's on to GRIN anyway.

I think that one of the reasons for the regular drops is the arbitrage made by bots.

The current price of bitcoin is still an obvious artificial scam if Bitfinex - the world's least trusted, most fraudulent exchange - is the market maker for price discovery and is mysteriously usually always something like $100 higher in price just like MtGox was.  Where's the arb to make Bitfinex and Bitstamp have the same price?  THERE IS NONE.

Do you really believe that HM or are you bull shitting us?

We never got Wall Street money because the tools were not in place and Wall Street had never heard of Bitcoin.

All the Wall Street / hedge fund / institutional infrastructure is being built out now.  That infrastructure is expensive.  It is being built for a reason.

I genuinely believe that Bitcoin has one last mind blowing pump left in it before the growth curve flattens out.   Our time in the sun will come.  And history says it will follow the halvening.

Will it follow the fractal exactly?  Of course not.  Will it follow the rough form of the fractal?  More than 50% chance imho.

This is only the beginning. The growth curve will flatten out after hyperbitcoinization, Bitcoin will bubble up well into the millions.
