Is there any measurement for Doge transactions? Just a curious about a comparison with bitcoin transaction. You see the green band? There, that’s DOGE plus ALL the other shitcoins except ETH. Link to my post where there’s the link to original medium post where this graph has been sourced: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg50320393#msg50320393So if you want to contact the author via Twitter: https://twitter.com/jpthor__

A very good point: Bitcoin is a universal unit of measurement
Just like 1 meter always = 100 cm, 1 bitcoin always = 100,000,000 sats
Using the dollar to value things (incl. BTC) makes little sense as its supply always changes
Imagine trying to measure smth if a meter constantly changed in length

^ Libido kill is Maybe for Some hardcore vegans
I’m even not vegaterian........ Just saying wisenose
A vegan approach would be the worst for libido... but if you are a vegetarian who at least regularly eats eggs (or some foods that have animal fats in them, like fish), then you should avoid some of the worst of the negative libido impacts... I understand when younger folks get on their higher and mightier than thou vegan trips, it could take a several years before they really feel the negative impacts of non animal fat diets, because humans are pretty resilient in terms of ability to process a variety of bad foods and keep on living.. and hey depending on the sport some top athletes might not go over their prime until nearly reaching their 40s (partly depending on the sport, of course).

Imagine trying to measure smth if a meter constantly changed in length It's a good point, but the real world does measure a lot of goods and services in dollars... Anyhow, if we understand that our current dollar valuation is a moving target (of course manipulated too), then we slowly can move more and more of our value into assets like bitcoin.

Not a vegetarian, but that about piece about libido it utter bs. Bonobos f-k all the time, they are mostly vegetarians; we are very close to bonobos (judging by our "activities" and genetics). Therefore, I proclaim (in the absence of any real evidence to the contrary) that vegeterianism does not affect the libido. Perhaps, it even increases it, lol. @JJG but there is always some exceptional case in sports where the vegan player stays on top. I am aware of only one such player, Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli

Well, when I priced a house 1.5 years ago, it was significantly less btc than today, so is btc as a unit shrinking? That whole argument is bs UNTIL we will start transacting for goods in btc. As long as fiat is the main transactional venue, we might have to postpone purchasing large items with btc. TL;DR how could it be a universal unit of measurement when it produces different measurements of the same item. It is not bitcoin that changes, it is the house??? P.S. Mahmudov brothers are infamous for these gobbledygook exclamations while presumably shorting btc.

I've been vegetarian for 25 years now. I eat eggs and dairy, no fish no meat. No issues with my libido (almost 44yrs old) but again I know what I'm doing nutrition wise and consume lots of calories. Best thing to do if you're not sure about vitamin deficiencies, hormonal disorder or else is get regular bloodworks. Every food can be replaced. Plus the body has a wonderful process called homeostasis. The problem with (some) vegans or vegetarians is they have a tendancy to eat shitty foods (processed fake stuff) to replace the products they loved so much (hmmm fake cheese). Soy also suddenly becomes their favorite food which is a terrible idea (check soy and estrogen online, you'll see). Being vegetarian can actually increase your cardio vascular system (less red meat helps for sure) and better cardio means better libido . Plus more fruits and veggies=more vitamins... but again you gotta know at least a bit what you're doing.

You know the difference between bonobos and chimps? When they meet, the chimps fucking murder the soy-apes. For the technically minded, bonobos are very hard r-types. Chimps are K's. It's rabbits vs wolves. Quantity vs quality.

Nah it's about what is used as unit of account, what is used for the transaction is not very relevant. Fiat currencies will likely be used as units of account for a long time due to their relatively low variance, and the fact that taxes are determined based on fiat revenues (vat, revenue tax, income tax etc) and companies like to avoid exchange rate risk (speculating on XR is not their core strength). This does not preclude bitcoin (or PMs or any other substitute) from being used to carry out a transaction.
