I saw the price start to move rather quickly above $8,900, so I prepared my post..

Yet, Vegeta (on the run) had to wait, and wait, and wait....... until bitstamp hit $9k with the consumption of 22 coins at that price.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Wait..so your telling me you were front running Vegeta???    Wink

For shame!

Full disclosure: I have to admit I did the same thing.

-----------

Not only has our friend Vegeta returned but we are mere dollars away from a new yearly high. TK crosses and ladders everywhere...oh my.

Jesus Christ, look at the timestamps!  a dead tie!!!

be interesting to see what LFC does in this situation

Toxic can have it.

I am already independently wealthy.

 Smiley

Well..thats not the point and never was.

We will have to wait on a official ruling anyway. Well played sir regardless.

Fraction of a second anti-cat bot power, here at the wheel.. .

Next time do not hesitate, even by one fraction of a penny, to depress that send button.

Seriously, you can have it.  I am sure that the ruies of all powerful vegeta do allow, especially if you are charitably inclined, and likely I would just purchase hookers and blow (albiet, on sale).

Welcome back to $9000 soon, last time it happened in a flash, this time for sure it's going to stay longer.

Celebrating here but still holding.  Grin Grin Grin

edit : I realize it's already $9000 in some exchange and in http://preev.com/ as well.

For our various Wall observenings, here, we go by Stamp, in these here parts.

Other exchanges and indexes are less relevant, in terms of "official" WO price reference.

When I clicked the post button I got the dreaded spinning wheel for a brief microsecond..I knew I was undone at that exact moment.  You must tell more of this anti-cat bot power...is this a team function? Or just a personal super power?

Most importantly...should I be worried??   Tongue

And by the by..I dont have anything against hookers or blow..

That being said..I am extremely fond of gentlemen bets such as those seen in the classic film Trading Places. Go figure.

BTC bear to self:
Grumble ... well guess we are still on the left shoulder.    Sure it will go down ... don't worry there will be a H&S pattern on sometime frame when it does happen.  Sure it will be there ...

My note to self:
If I had just held ... I would be years closer to retirement!

It was over 9k for a couple of minutes but it keeps bumping itself back down. Gotta wait until morning to see it stabilize when people are buying up those last few coins at under $9k. Smiley

I am reserving my celebratory jig until we get back on dooglus' top 100 days post (at about $9230 IIRC). Seeing as we may see $10K by end of Monday, it shouldn't be too much of a hardship to wait.

Do you think shorts/long ratio (or absolute amounts of shorts/longs) has any impact on bitcoin price?

Yes

Bitcoin loves to squeeze shorts and hammer longs when the herd gets too cocky

$40 away from yearly high.  Things could get messy if we break $9100.

Long / short ratio is 0.95 meaning plenty of fuel for a short squeeze (top band is price, middle chart is long / short and bottom chart is Bitmex funding)
