So I found the next toy I want.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeyqT8fz2ro

Need some higher prices first, maybe it will be my 100k thing.

That's funny as all get out.

I can't imagine anyone using that thing for more than a few hours before smashing it into something though.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Off topic but is everybody aware of Vod’s work - BPIP

https://bpip.org/

It gives all kinds of cool info, ranking people in the forum for -

Forum rank sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately, human nature conspires to make it nothing but a measure of in-crowd popularity.
Forum rank sounds like a terrible idea. It's one of those things that breeds narcissistic behavior. Just look at whenever something controversial comes up, people screeching about how they can't believe a legendary would say such a thing and take his title away. And that's just an indication of activity, utterly meaningless.

As a boater it looks absolutely fab. Depends what you are into. Also it's a two seater so, you know. And smash into what? Basic navigation is not hard.

If you can do something to keep realr0ach out of here then I am sure you will receive an overwhelming support. Other than that it is not such a big issue.

He is definitely a troll, and that is against the official unofficial rules, but its a rare day when somebody actually gets banned for trolling. Whatever, the ignore button is a pretty effective roach repellent. Every time somebody quotes roach, its just a validating reminder of why I have him on ignore.

Why am I on the internet in the middle of the night instead of in bed reading a book?
I always end up buying some styling stuff for my 30 year old 740, just bought handle covers 760 style.
Really don't need it, but what the heck, I like the stuff.
Cant wait until BTC hits 100k, that's when I cash out a substantial sum of money and buy a lightyear one among other things. https://lightyear.one
Well, going to bed and cuddle with the cats now. You all have a good one.

OMG how did I not know about the Lightyear One?  Thank you for drawing this to my attention !!

Year 2017 had a similar weekly candle set-up as the one today, which was followed by a 570% price increase over the next 147 days. Another similar price increase puts BTC price at ≈$62K by the end of October 2019.

https://twitter.com/galaxyBTC/status/1140576413180997632

This graph looks reasonable.

Going up to $60k then drops to $20-$40k ish.

Halving kicks in.

Bitcoin blast to $100k - $200k.

One man's "reasonable" is another man's "stretch of plausibility."   No?

I would not be asserting that it could NOT happen (nor would I be disappointed - but maybe nervous if it did happen), but I would be far from currently describing such an outline of bitcoin's near-term projected price path as "reasonable."

Still over 9k?

What alternate universe is this? Smiley

The one in which you spilled your coffee and started a butterfly effect that ended with BTC breaking $9K and holding it.

Well the floor better be strong because I can't stand being on this laptop much longer! Cheesy

2 screens is like I'm being punished!

A script that polls the thread every few seconds and auto-deletes posts from given user ids could achieve something similar. You'd want a box running it 24/7 though.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Nice to see we're hanging in over $9k... currently $9210USD/$12340CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

That included a new AYH and a nice little correction/retrace.

Looking good. Go Bitcoin go.

They dont, thats why they are called "boomers". Its not related to generation anymore, but to technological backwardness.

A few of them deserve some credit, but most of 'em don't.

Reason being, every Boomer I've ever spoken to who retired wealthy/early divulged to me that they invested in things that they didn't fully understand at the time (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.)

You do realize that Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos are (or were) all boomers, don't you? Likewise Vint Cerf, Tim Berners-Lee and Gordon E. Moore.

Millennials wouldn't be bumbling along with 2 thumbs glued to their cellphones without the superior technological expertise of boomers.

I feel like a lot of you have a love-hate relationship with roach. I would love to see the stats on roach's posts compared to the amount of posts about roach. It's probably a 1:5, maybe even 1:10 ratio. He posts what, maybe a few times a day? Followed by 30 posts of people complaining about him in one way or another.

"roach , you didn't even answer the question..."
"roach is wrong in his fundamentals..."
"roach should be banned..."
"just ignore roach, he'll go away..."

He's made his points clear, we all know what he is, and what he thinks. So... stfu. You know what I can't stand? Olives. You know what I don't talk about (barring this example)? Olives. If someone else posts about them, I just scroll on past and ignore it. Guess what I never have to worry about on here? That's right, having to think about those gross, little, round things.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTurSi0LhJs

When you're on WO, and roach says something ridiculous, stfu.
When roach says "Something, something, jew, something, metals, something", stfu.
If you stfu and ignore him, you'll never have to worry about roach.

I honestly don't care about his posts, if anything it makes me think about why I disagree with him, further cementing my own beliefs.

In fact, most millennials donno shit about technology. They are just users. Dumb users in the majority of cases.
