I remember you saying both Glasgow and Edinburgh are shit. Which is the shittest, and how much shitter is it than the other one?

Moi? I've lived in both. I thought they were both great. I much preferred Glasgow overall. Edinburgh's more up itself but more manicured and has less going on.

So Glasgow's great, not desolate and depressing?

You should come to Svalbard. It's the poor mans Antarctica.

It's definitely on the list. One day I hope to come across somewhere so desolate and depressing that I instantly drop dead from sheer despair. In the UK Port Glasgow does a nice job. I think some forgotten city in Siberia's going to do it.

A ha.

Port Glasgow is about 22 miles up the road. But that's going up in the world too. You can still get an apartment there for about $5,000 if you shop around all the same.

But yes there are bits of Glasgow too that are fooking horrible, mainly the outskirts where slum dwellers were sent to newly built estates for a supposedly better life. But there's lots of elegance and green spaces too.

I thought you meant Glasgow when you said Port Glasgow. I didn't realise they are separate places. This is paraphrased from wikipedia.

Why am I on the internet in the middle of the night instead of in bed reading a book?
I always end up buying some styling stuff for my 30 year old 740, just bought handle covers 760 style.
Really don't need it, but what the heck, I like the stuff.
Cant wait until BTC hits 100k, that's when I cash out a substantial sum of money and buy a lightyear one among other things. https://lightyear.one
Well, going to bed and cuddle with the cats now. You all have a good one.

OMG how did I not know about the Lightyear One?  Thank you for drawing this to my attention !!

You're welcome, I just hope it looks as cool as it sounds. And that the things that actually matters in daily use actually is there and works. Like a cleaning function for the headlights that actually cleans them, and enough cup holders, and the possibility to install a light ramp, and a good heating system. You really need those things in the dark and muddy winters where I live.
I will not be selling my 30 year old Volvo 740.

How do you get around the problem of driving an ultra-lightweight, aluminum car frame that weighs like 200 pounds and coming into contact with 5000 pound SUVs crushing you like a medieval torture device?  All cars should be like that, but I'm not sure how to get all the SUV-tards off the road.  You would have to rebuild the entire infrastructure of every country and having shipping only roads for 18 wheelers that these things don't drive on.  Probably a lot of rail shipping that needs to be reworked too.

There is a new guy coming to town.

First, it was the Mayer Multiple, then the Puell Multiple and now...

The Golden Ratio Multiple.

To begin, we will use the 350 day moving average of Bitcoin’s price. It has historically been an important moving average because once price moves above it, a new bull run begins.

edit: looks like infofront was quicker than me. :/

While talking about 350DMA's... What if it goes like...

See the orange line under the purple line? This looks so fucking wild. Almost like a tiger about to fuck some rabbit.

I am very well familiar with the stupidity that has engulfed the UK. It one of the worst shitholes to live in today primarily to everything that you've listed (and a few other things, CCTV anyone?). Imagine that, a western highly-developed country = complete shithole. That's a discussion for P&S section, but that one has a roach called TECSHARE. It's best to discuss these things off-forum.  Smiley

Speaking from experience are we?
Though I currently reside in USA, I have lived for a number of years in the UK (dual citizen)
Though the plumbing maybe antiquated (among other slight annoying inconveniences) it is
certainly  not a “shithole” ...quite the contrary imo. They don’t have a moron president or a retarded gun culture and you don’t go bankrupt for getting ill.
But like you said that’s a discussion for P+S section and the mighty tecshare and all.
Then again I suppose making blatantly subjective posts like that will no doubt gain you lots of
friends in here (and maybe a couple of enemies , idk). It’s the WO after all....
Your prime minister was literally run out of office for being incompetent. And the mayor of your biggest city is a muslim. People are being arrested over tweets and facebooks. Shithole doesn't begin to cover it, more like banana republic.

Full disclosure regarding poll. Voted "$8,251-$8,500". Glad to be wrong in this instance.

I was more optimistic... $8751 - $9000. I will also be glad to be wrong...

I honestly don't care about his posts, if anything it makes me think about why I disagree with him, further cementing my own beliefs.

He is useful for that purpose. See, my one liner got him to reply with a couple of paragraphs of expletives.

The majority of the country voted for neither, or will ever vote again, and all you have to do to avoid being slotted by SCO19 for tweeting about gayers and girls with willies is not go on those shitty platforms.

That leaves you a fine land filled with nuns cycling to cricket matches in the morning mist.
