You can play bitcoin investment matters however you like but it seems like a decently postured asymmetric bet .....
It has always been an asymetric bet.....but that understanding comes with recognition that it is a bet, and thus has a finite probability of failure. Going to our probability calculations, I now estimate a 65% chance we are in a bull market. The latest rally ironically reduced that probability, because it deviated so much from the previous shallow waves. The move to 13.5k can either be seen as a demonstration of relative strength, or as a failed parabolic rally in a bear market, which is a much more bearish signal. So, bull market 65%, bear market 35%. My breakdown of that : New AYH within weeks 25%, bounce from support (at $6.5k, $8.5k) 15%, extended sideways consolidation 25%. Slow grind down from here to below $3k 20%, dump followed by pump to a lower high 10%, crash to deep lows (sub 2k) 5%. |

You can see the last 6 weeks' move as a confirmation of that sentiment, and that is how we would all prefer to read it (and also has the higher probability of being correct). edit : Convincingly and quickly regaining the AYH above 14k would be the super-bullish sign. |

So what happened, the group "ALFA MAN" shared his continuous thought and TA and like tomorrow we will be UP a bit the day after down, made his homework and charts every single day, few guys respond to him and where all happy to be there.... some fun Bogdanov memes and sh*t, then he shared and shared and he start asking how long peeps where in crypto etc ( he made charts for BTC and dozens of alt ) So I told them to be in BTC quiet long and still believed to know very little as I thought his charts where stupid, outrageous and will lead to big losses for many 5he was also a guy with the talk 1K-1.5K bottom is imminent) I said to not rule out anything as we where hoovering around the current bottom at that time, but I said to people not go with his opinion like its a sure thing, I advised them to do some own research and to check out some threads at the forum etc After that he deleted me from the telegram group (didn't bothered me as I hate those telegram groups) Off course then the sudden 1K pump happened and he still was talking 1K-1.5K bottom is imminent, at that time my friend that joined me in that group his GF met that guy of the telegram group in a Belgian disco and they talked over crypto and the girl said i'm not really in crypto don't understand any just gave my BF "only 5K" to invest in BTC, then the guy responded wow i'm invested 3K in BTC and many alts and that are the guys where some people are actually listen to come on jonoiv don't be such a dumb loser, better start listening to those permabulls and moonboys of this thread *Oooow yeah the telegroup doesn't exist anymore right now..... |

Will you buy BTC at $16k or not? The smart thing you said is if you are a coiner why to care about its price, cause we need to care less thats a fact, the again the question if to buy at 16 is less smart we don't by the pump as older coiners that knows this market... Offcourse many will buy when its DIPs from 30 or something to 16 but not in the PUMP or maybe when there is some spare filthy FIAT that not to be used for anything..... Also most in here did filled up as much as they could below 10K so taking a breather right now, for me I try to keep playing and stacking when I can... |
