OT: Not that I personally believe Bitcoin is only an investment, more of a digital online money that is still growing in value. But I'm so sick of seeing well known wealth investors in the media saying shit like "Bitcoin's ship has sailed...shoulda got in at $1, but not worth it now."

Total bullshit.

If Bitcoin's fiat value *only* doubled from here within say, 6 years (I'm being waaay conservative here for sake of argument), it would still TROUNCE every single hi value equity out there in the market today. Including Apple, Google, Facebook, or Amazon. If it merely matched the gains of any of those other equities, it'd still be worth it. And if it *only* increased by 5-6% a year over a 6 year period, it would beat something like 90% of ALL equities out there.

10800, now let the real weekend-pump kick in, let it continue all the way until we and LFC+GF having dinner, while laughing with r0ach and the no-coiners......

The girl is in bed, fast asleep, drunk after two bottles of wine to herself. I’m not drinking until we go away next week. I’m saving myself Cheesy

I’ve started to go for a long walk every night now to try & get fitter. When you hit your 30’s your metabolism goes out of the window & it’s tough to stay in shape. Think I’m gonna join a gym soon.

Looking forward to seeing you both Friday, we’ll have to think of some shit to do & see if you get there before lunchtime. I’ve been to Amsterdam once but was a long time ago in a different life when I was 21 & single Cheesy

Maybe we are at $11,xxx when I see you.

Why did you bring a dog to a restaurant?  And what kind of animal is that sitting on top of it?

Come on r0ach, it’s OK to have a bit of banter etc but that’s a bit too far. Leave cryptoqueeen out of it. She’s a really nice girl.

As do I, I could go for a celebratory beer about now, the price has been sitting in this lower 10k range for too long, time to bump it up a grand or so and sit there instead. I don't need a huge rise, just incremental steps once in a while.

Yeah, I much prefer incremental steps. I’m not in the mood for unsustainable pumps because we all know what happens after them.

I have combined Fibonacci retracement levels from both the weekly and 3 day Bitstamp charts below. You can see we are into a bullish 3 day 50/200 MA Golden Cross but there is significant overhead resistance at $11,400 on Bitstamp where Fibonacci levels from the weekly and 3 day charts overlap and reinforce each other.

I consider $11,500 a tipping point, if price can break that level on volume we have a good chance of making it to $13,880. The weekly middle BBand is right at $8,000 now and the worst case I see is very strong support at $7,000 to $7,500.
