Some things change. Some stay the same. I love this overlay HM, it certainly makes one begin to dream. We all like to dream. This time I have a feeling the rise will be earlier than last cycle as the importance and relevance of the halvening for price is so much more disclosed and analysed (thanks to PlanB).

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Weren't 10k ok to carry in cash?? Nothing is ok any more. The 'rule of law' is long gone. They arrest you first, and 'lose the money in the system'. Then they decide if you're guilty or not. Then maybe you get to go to court. But 'it'd be better for you to admit you're guilty'.

People say oh the govt thugs (police, customs, army) won't come to bitcoiners' houses to arrest them for being bitcoiners because they'd be being paid in worthless dollars or other fiat. This is naive. They'll come and shake us down for free.

Well I dream for 100k
Me too but I think it’s a realistic outcome. Think of the lifestyle $100,000 per BTC will give us. People say oh the govt thugs (police, customs, army) won't come to bitcoiners' houses to arrest them for being bitcoiners because they'd be being paid in worthless dollars or other fiat. This is naive. They'll come and shake us down for free.
Good luck to them getting access to my coins.

Palazzo Vecchio, Florence WO gang! Time for a more pixel game! A very easy one! Dear lord! That was quick! Maybe it was a too easy one! Here it is:the WO sign and n the background Palazzo Vecchio in Florence It’s also a Bitcoin related story. (Bear with me with that, I am walking)Florence shares with Genoa, both Italian cities, the first gold coins in the Middle Ages, after the disrgregstion of the Roman Empire, widely accepted and used as MoE and Sov at the times. You can read this good post in the Italian board here or on Wikipedia. Florence prospered in the Renaissance because based its commercial power on hard money, while almost every other city was inflating their money printing with weaker and weaker gold content. Hard money proved a good strategy for the centuries. Bitcoin has been around since a little more of 10 years. Bitcoin Reference: David Bitcoin is fighting Fiat Goliath Again bitcoin reference: this is not a statue of a Fillippone. Details...

Hold on, what about the Roman solidus? That bad boy was minted nearly a thousand years before the florin and remained unadulterated for longer than the Republic existed.
