City traders have urged UK and European exchanges to cut trading hours to improve work-life balance.
They say the long hours are bad for mental health and are not exactly female-friendly.
"It's hard to find childcare at five o'clock in the morning," said April Day, head of equities at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME).
The idea is for exchanges to open 09:00 to 16:00, instead of 08:00 to 16:30.
The AFME is pushing for the change alongside fellow trader body the Investment Association.
Shorter trading hours would cut pressure on traders and attract a more diverse range of workers, it said. The absolute state of this world smh.

They are going to be replaced by machines in a short time. A machine can run 24/7 without need for childcare. It’s not taking long, already the majority of trades on stock exchanges are machine2machine.

Hoping I can get to my HODL stash target amount of coins before we start to move significantly upwards. I saw HairyMaclairy’s 2014/15 vs 2019/20 over lay & it looks like we could move relatively sideways for 6 months or more. Not sure about anybody else but that’s perfect for me.
Keep stacking those sats gentlemen.

Jay, I feel that you should write about this thingy more in Beginners & help or any specific section, this stuff is informative for any reader/newbie. IMHO your content could be lifesaver for some. Thanks, JSRAW. I do seem to write about these kinds of portfolio management, BTC trading and/or incrementalism topics frequently, yet my writing in such areas tends to be prompted by the posts of others rather than some kind of sui generis feelings that I champion regarding such topics. By the way, I don't mind going out there in other parts of the forum from time to time, yet frequently, if there is only 24 hours in a day, I don't always feel that I have time to look for other threads, unless they somehow come to my attention through this thread or some other coincidence. But, sure, maybe I should periodically browse for some other threads, such as beginner or help threads, to attempt to chime in from time to time. You are correct with your supposition that I enjoy batting around ideas regarding such topics... or even engaging in various kinds of attempts to impose my views onto others in that direction.

Before I read your above post, my brain looked like image 1a, but after I read your post my brain looked like image 1b. A festering pus-filled acne boil? I guess that explains at least some of your behaviour.
