Ever tried virtualisation? VMware did a pretty good job at running 32 bit OS like WinXP in a window, while passing through USB hardware from the host OS (win10 64bit). So if mach3 is running on a decent USB-PPT interface, i'd check that too. I have run my car's OBD stonage interface via USBCOM serial port-USB bridge controller under such configurations successfully.
Well worth a try, imo. And oracle's virtualbox should do it sufficiently, too (for free).
EDIT: I googled "usb parallel port mach 3" and judging by the first three results it shouldn't be much of a problem to get things running that way.
The problem is latency. CNC needs really precise timing, like realtime kernel precise, which is why the parallel port is on the PCI bus, USB adapters are a recipe for disaster. I know you googled, but those hits are referring to purpose built USB input motion controllers that deal with timing internally. This thing isn't worth converting to a new motion controller...though somehow it is worth days of my time...

I know absolutely nothing about computers, but if your problem is that your old machine isn't compatible with a new computer, why don't you just buy an old computer on Ebay?

I know you googled, but those hits are referring to purpose built USB input motion controllers that deal with timing internally. This thing isn't worth converting to a new motion controller...though somehow it is worth days of my time... Hmm, i see. Perle adapters (parallel over ethernet) might be another option, but i never tried that, i just read somewhere that these are quite timing-accurate. Having a quick look into "pci passthru", that means passing a pci device to a virtual machine guest OS, is only supported in VirtualBox Linux version and VMWare ESX (which replaces the host OS, win10x64 in this case, to allow device level passthru). If i am interpreting the information correctly, it's a windows license thing that passthru isnt supported in windoze. These stupid redmont fuckers :/ If you really hang to it, i'd get an old win32 micro-atx box or laptop with built-in PPT and no internet access, using an old KVM switch to save space and share one set of keyboard, mouse and monitor between the two computers. I used to work like this with three local servers and a workstation in development and it was quite convenient, also because i didn't have to stay in the noisy server room next door. Just drilled a hole for the cables through the wall. I know absolutely nothing about computers, but if your problem is that your old machine isn't compatible with a new computer, why don't you just buy an old computer on Ebay?
AFAIR, he doesn't have enough space for two boxes. EDIT: To stay on topic, observing $7182 from the basement beside my noisy cnc router. Downtrend channel seems to hold. Filthy grinding to the future bottom. Hail to the halving

That list could not be complete (which you said). Missing the largest one (or most scandalous one of 2019), Quadrigacx, no? And of course there is BTC-e and WEX in 2017/2018. Edit. Xhomerx10 beat me, partly. I will beat the parts he missed. I just teamed up with jbreher and wrote a self-help book on the topic. (Note: That is NOT me (nor jbreher - apparently?), so don't go hating on that fellow)

It saves you from troubles with the stomach by reducing anger and it gives that unbeatable feeling of staying on top. Like parents, when a kid is freaking out. It sends a subtle message of predominance to your opponent.

Hey - looooong time lurker ..... longer time holder. Think this may be my first time posting.
Long time interested in earning interest. To date, all methods of doing that just seemed like a good way to lose whatever coin I elected to lend.
However, been looking at blockfi lately.
Anyone have any experience with it?
Paying interest in bitcoins is a very simple play. Scammers will get your bitcoins with pleasure and sell them for fiat at the very moment they get them. They will even pay you interest if bitcoin price goes down and will show you the middle finger if price goes up. This is why only retards are looking for places where they can deposit their bitcoins to earn interest! Thanks for reminding me why I don't post. Appreciate the link psycodad - will be interested to see your experience. Yeah.. don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch... I think your question is good and interesting. And businesses like BlockFi are certainly in the future for Bitcoin. But custody is still not entirely a solved problem. All the issues with bitcoin custody can be easily solved. More regulations to protect customers are needed... Every retard that is looking to deposit their bitcoins to 'earn' interest is sponsoring bitcoin dumps. It is really that simple!

For that price, customers do not get the display – which starts at $4,999 – or the $999 stand that holds up that screen. Mine came out to over $11k :| Woof. With the new hash algorithm you might make a little scratch mining Monero in your downtime with that thing.

In the office? At the meeting? Nice to dream about that, but in RL this never was an option. I had bad luck with violence from the start, so i avoided it. In school, two guys were mobbing me, so i hit one guy with the back of my hand full-on and his nose started to bleed like mad. Then the teacher made sure i was kicked out of school. Lesson learned (but i never mobbed anyone, later on).

I realise that probably no one wants to hear it here, but it does look like price is forming another descending triangle on the 4hr. There are enough touchpoints against the resistance downtrend line (including wicks), although we do only have a few on the support, but arguably not three (basic requirement imo) that are far enough apart still. Regardless, we all about Bitcoin's history of descending triangles, as well as hodlers deniable of them, so I think its worth bringing it up I also don't think this is a big deal, it's measuring a 9% back down to $6,500, rather than to lower lows. The breakdown zone is calculated as being between 18th and the 25th (Christmas day haha). I could see this being the final drop before a big move up, or the continuation of the bear trend. I'm actually feeling pretty neutral mid-term about the market right now, even if shorter and longer-term I'm back to being bearish again, which is merely what certain technical indicators are telling me.

Today he's the President of the country.... doesn't bully people anymore, but Human Rights international and other orgs claim he does.

Bob used to want to beat me up too (punch me in the face to be more precise), but he seems to have allowed time to heal such negative inclinations, by unblocking me, which is the next closest step to a hug. #nohomo.^ Just don’t serve JJG that dust ....
