Before closing the year 2019, I wanted to make a bar chart to see the hacked by year, this week in Jameson Loop showed a list of hacked exchanges and I am contrasting it with mine, but in that same tweet there is a comment from a participant (bitmex) pointing to a bitcointalk link: (I thought it was my thread, but no... Kiss)

List of Major Bitcoin Heists, Thefts, Hacks, Scams, and Losses
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576337.0

A very complete thread with a lot of information and follow-up analysis of each exchange, but the OP seems not to have been connected for a long time, if this thread were updated it would be a reference for the forum.
Anyway, I will put a link to that thread because there is important data.

After quickly comparing the data found and mine, the graph goes something like this, the data is quite ugly.
There are included, scams, theft and lost or stolen exchanges.

I hope to finish it these days and when I close the year I will publish it in my thread.

I feel like I'm getting deja vu now. It could just be due to alcohol, but what if $6,430 was the low? I remember when $3,130 didn't look like the low either. It also looked like we'd probably go lower, due to the technicals. Now $6,430 doesn't look like the bottom as well. Maybe we don't get obviously defined bottom, yet again.

I've said it multiple times, I think we're going lower, to the $5k area, but that also this could actually be the bottom.
Compare it to the 2014 bear market. It looks a lot like it.

Already done, two versions extrapolating the 2014 correction  Wink

The bullish:

The bearish:

These charts can't both be right, so am still waiting for confirmation as to which is wrong. Likely the second chart however.
Either way, both point to the idea that this is a long-term accumulation zone, hence I'm accumulating.

Graph is Bullshit, it is hyperbolically setup for the first glance to make it look like the scam exchanges went through the roof. That is not how to setup a graph unless you have ulterier motives.

You are safe down there? Huh

I mean not on the bloody floors, but in that hell hole.

Had some family member evacuees a few weeks back.   Their place ended up safe but some houses were lost a few kilometers away.  And they nearly had to evacuate again a few days ago when there was another bushfire.

Everywhere is getting hit.  I was flying to another city a few weeks back and the entire coast is on fire for 800 km.  Literally looking down on non-stop fire and smoke the entire flight. The Gospers Mountain has been burning for two months now and has burnt half a million hectares in that time.  And that’s only one fire.

Where we live we are safe. If we burn, then Australia has got much bigger problems than just us.

The fire fighters have worked miracles but they can’t keep up this pace.  There are now dozens of them injured and they have been going flat out for a couple months now.  And there are still months to go.  And they are all volunteers, most aren’t getting paid.

But I hear California is bad too.  So it’s not just us.

I'm sorry you don't like it, but it's the only way to do it, years by number of exchanges and the total of all.
I do not understand your comment.

Don’t include the total of all as the last bar.  It’s misleading.

There are rules for proper data analysis.

How to create a graph chart for "proper" data analysis.

The last bar presents the total of all of them, any graph should be carefully observed and read the data, not just looking at the colors. Cheesy

But if this is the norm (I don't know) when I publish the finished graphic, I will remove the totals bar.

thx

edit:

that's better?

NP, you can move it to a horizontal position underneath if you really feel it needs to be there.
