Well, in my household it's the parent me teaching the kid. But yeah, I do think there should be a semester on basic money management taught in public schools. And probably another semester on basic life skills that it seems many parents don't teach or don't even know themselves.
There's the rub. Indeed the only way for kids to really learn is by the example their own parents set. Unfortunately too many parents set the wrong example. The cycle of abuse continues.

Around $400-$500 No, wait, around $600-$700 one month before the halving (july) Meh, we should probably be a bit higher atm then to follow the same path as then.

... righto champs, chumps (who sold at the bottom?) and sundry muppets (go away already?) time to shine.
the black friday March 13 crypto bloodbath is behind us, a day that will live in infamy, and tears of bottom sellers.

I wanted to point out that those counties seem to have peaked - we're going to beat this thing. Stay safe.
Even if it's peaked, we shouldn't forget that there are lockdowns across the globe. What's the guarantee that we won't get to see round two of the virus once every place opens again?

seems like the first peak of the first wave is almost here after lockdowns and physical distancing restrictions. ... now how do we relax those restrictions to prevent a second peak? Or is that impossible? Do we stamp it out totally? Or get the fiat money-go-around whirling before it collapses in upon itself? Maybe we need to have rolling lockdowns over the next 18 months? 4 or 5 peaks of the first wave (it's sounding like Elliot wave TA ) Then we can prepare for the second wave, next strain that might get going around (released?) ...

While everyone is focused on the virus, the destruction of the world economy is slowly happening in the background. This is the start of another great depression. Regardless of what happens with the virus, the depression is already here.
Housing market collapse, commercial real estate collapse, depression level unemployment, mass bankruptcies, mass small business destruction, hyperinflation of the USD. This is game over for the current system. Things will never be the same again.
Start making plans, get yourself positioned.

We are in uncharted territory something I never expected to see within my lifetime. Until there is a vaccine it is likely COVID-19 will be seasonal and will return. That is if we get it under control which is not a given. We don't know if it will mutate into a less virulent strain or become more infectious. And just like the seasonal flu we will most likely need a new vaccine each year. We also don't know yet to what extent survivors are immune to reinfection. Social distancing buys time until there are better treatments and a vaccine.

There are experiments happening now using blood plasma from recovered individuals in hopes of transferring their immunity. Some of the greatest minds in the world are working on potential cures, vaccines and other countermeasures as we type. The WHO is running a program called SOLIDARITY worldwide using hospitals and patients to test existing antivirals for their efficacy. Not only that but we have already at least one experiment showing that Macaque monkeys can't become reinfected with COVID-19 which is promising for herd immunity. Much has already been done by unsung heroes while the rest of us shake in our boots. We only really have to limit the number of new infections so as not to over-fill the ICU spots we have available; maybe that means isolating the elderly and the otherwise already-at-risk individuals for slightly longer while a vaccine is developed. Maybe we eradicate this thing just as we did with smallpox. This is fine.
