Poor Bossian
Heh. In 2016 I made a pair of bets .333 bitcoin each that Trump would lose the election. I honored both. Taught me not to bet with bitcoin :-) did also a bet with user elrippo about a new ATH on 1.1.2017 which I lost (0.1 BTC). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1577496.0did one with elrippo also, ended up winning 0.5 btc in august of 2017. doubled up and made a charity project out of it to buy Christmas presents for poor kids. other forum members added generously. by December 2017 the charity stash had grown to almost €100k. 1 Million Merits for you !

Red curve: the square root of time. Superposed on the red curve, a step function of the genesis block and halvings defines an identical curve, translated horizontally. Bitcoin price, chasing the inner envelope, describes the step response to the halvings.

So...November choice got it, in a surprise fashion...a bit fleeting to my liking... not buying here. IMHO, the only question is when a correction to the 12K-16K band: before 21K or afterwards. Enjoying the current (well, almost current) enthusiasm, though.
There is NO such condition precedent in bitcoin. Don't u know nuttin, Biodom? BTC got too much resistance around $19k - $19.5k. Once it crosses 20k there is very less resistance after that,it will move towards $25k. As on many exchanges, BTC hits ATH so fingers crossed hope it crosses resistance.
It already has crossed pre-ATH resistance... The resistance was around $17,250.... there is little to no resistance in the no man's zone... Don't you know nuttin, cosmicbtc?

His best friend was a pigeon He never left his apartment He died broke Yes it was. Also a means of Transporting Messages He did not leave it for a reason you have no clue about. He died a Humanitarian . Now pay respect to the man that made all this charade possible ! P.S : In a world where you are the one of the only ones that can change the world and is surrounded by greedy idiots, you are bound to go insane. I see that many people fail to understand than Money has no place in Innovation and Progress no matter how hard the system tries to force upon it.

Finally, new ATH, at least on Bitstamp (but, as I understand, not on all major exchanges) Great! I am glad that I was wrong when I thought there will be no new ATH until the next (2024) halving. Still below $20k though.

People/friends started asking about investment in bitcoin. I tread carefully. The problem is that they always first ask about bitcoin and few months later it turned out that they changed it to something else. You cannot teach someone a life experience.

Schiff is correct in many respects, bitcoin is sucking the speculative excesses out of all the other areas of our speculation-riddled society. Fiat printing insanity by the Central Banks has put humanity on a crazy ride of financial instability and speculative manias is just one side-effect. Art, cars, stocks, housing and on and on, all assets are now prone to speculative manias breaking out because the currencies themselves have been radically debased and have suffered a fatal blow, they are not coming back.
Bitcoin is the blackhole with the potential to suck all these speculative excesses into a new financial system, eventually stabilising around the new numeraire.
The fiat monetary systems were running on the fumes of stability from their past gold-standard eras, but that is completely gone now. Will bitcoin usurp gold and suck all the speculative/monetary premium out of the precious metal complex assets also? Maybe. It would be stupid not to hedge against that radically landscape altering possibility.

Same here... why would I invest in BTC if BCH (insert any shitcoin here) has grown 5% and BTC only 2% they keep asking...
