My suspicion is that TESLA is now not only under increased pressure because of China issues, but also the car manufacturers from US and Europe. Apparently the competitors are catching up very quickly and their cars don't fall apart either. It could also be that the SEC is putting pressure on him or TESLA. In addition, he is now starting to be revealed as, not a genius, but rather the useless twat that he actually is.

This would weigh on someone with such a mentally unstable mind as his. So he will go out kicking and screaming, and for some reason he has added Bitcoin as one of his avenues to do this. It will probably continue until you read about him in a couple years time either going to rehab or being placed in a mental ward. Kind of like a McAfee situation. I don't think that Moron's last tweet is related to the dump. It happened 2 hours after the first leg and 2 hours before the second leg. In the last days we've had a steady growth, so the weak hands postponed their dump until 39K+. This is the entry point for many STH, so they are "happy" (mindrust kind of happiness) to quit now on break even or a small loss. Hopefully this is the last patch of losers going rekkt. Anyway, Moron is also a weak hand and a n00b. Besides, he is an aspburger, so his soul is broken by default. I expect him to dump both his own and Tesla's bitcoins at some point. This day should be celebrated, since the image of Bitcoin will be healed by another cancer lump like Roger Ver, Jihan Wu, CW and many other evil peeps. Not that Bitcoin in itself can be damaged by the weak hands though. On the contrary, the switch to more serious and truly diamond hands is what matters in the long-term. I keep seeing this everytime the mempool goes empty. A huge jump of 1 sat transactions over a matter of seconds. Does anyone know why? Is it perhaps a organisation that has thousands of addresses full of dust or something?

I like that you are thinking of reasonable non-adversarial reason for this.  I immediately go to Roger Ver or someone attacking the network.

No I'm afraid I'm not that innocent, I've been around bitcoin too long for that. My first thought is of course foul play, but the way this jump is done each time is slightly different so thought maybe different organisations just doing some kind of coin management thing.

wouldn't it just be a bot that rebroadcasts some old, cheapo TX that got dropped out of the mempool way-back-when it filled up? It's watching the mempool and when empty rebraodcasts I'd guess.

Bitcoin Core QT wallet will do that as long as it is open. If the transaction originated from that wallet, it will rebroadcast the transaction every so often. Not sure about the other wallets, I would guess that happens too unless you abandon the transaction or shut down the wallet.
