Well it means that at least from my teeny little vantage point lightning network USE is increasing exponentially.  I could be an outlier, but I doubt it.  I have added a few channels recently, and have dropped my fees, but I do not think either of those things has a huge impact.  Moving my fees around does not seem to change the traffic much (which is interesting).

Have you joined the #ZeroBaseFee club? http://www.rene-pickhardt.de/

Well I have done lots of wild fee experimentation.  But right now most of my nodes charge 0:base 1:rate.  And a few are 0:0

The more i think about it, the more I think low fees will make the lightning network... particularly base fees.

I glanced at that death from too much masterbation article and it claims that too much masterbation led to lack of food and water for that particular 16-year old.. so I guess that is plausible with any extreme scenario.. and I was not even talking about that in my earlier post.

On your suggestion that me specifically pissing off the wrong people on the interwebs could lead to negative in-person ramifications.. . that seems to be a wee bit strange of an assertion.  Surely you are not presuming that my in-person interactions with people are likely going to cause anyone to want to inflict violence upon me.. because you likely do not even know much if anything about my in-person interactions beyond pure speculations.  Accordingly, I will say that I never tend to run into much if any kinds of situations in the real world in which I feel in danger in that kind of way.. not that certain precautions are not taken, either... so you may well have a lot of assumptions built into what you are proclaiming to be a risk.. including potential issues with some desires that some folks might have to break OPsec in order to express feewwings that they have had regarding ideas shared over the interwebs.. yeah there are a lot of psychos in the world (and sure sometimes we see some traces of some of that through some of the personalities that seem to get emotional about things that probably should not really bother them, and we also have some pretty retarded ideas that get shared and people get hurt feewwwings when they are told that their ideas are not the greatest thing since sliced bread).. Hopefully, you are not inclined to promote or encourage psycho behaviors (or prone to them ur lil selfie.. as you have expressed such seemingly emotionally-based desires in the past), unless I am reading you wrong... in other words, stop coming off as a butt-hurt dweeb.. unless again, I am reading you wrong.

I didn't read your pre-previous post I just needed to honor a hero's memory. Anyway, the kid died after dehydration which must have caused him to stroke/ or he had a previous heart condition that was left untreated.

My good man, the mental gymnastics mild schizophrenic mental gymnastics are unnecessary. You're making me feel paranoid.

My question is who was counting or did he have a detailed tally list left next to the bed?

Thats why he's a hero.

Seems like "the market" still wants to suppress Bitcoin's price climb, eh?

None of this seems unusual to me...

Yeah sure we had some downward opportunistic inclinations, but what the hell do you expect after a 85% price increas in about 6 weeks or so and really nothing greater than a 12% price correction during that time, so the mere fact that we have a 19% price correction, so far and a bouncing around in around a 11% to 15% correction arena does not seem unusual at all, even if you might be trying to assign some kinds of conspiracy/manipulation events/actions to it, and even that some other twats might be making similar kinds of lame claims..

I am pretty convinced that derivatives hinder growth. I don't know how much, but since CME/CBOE things run different. Still, older factors have been removed, some are hovering (MtGox)...
What i know is that simple answers to questions about complex systems are mostly always wrong. So much for the conspiracy theories.

EDIT: And leverage. Did i mention leverage, yet? no?

Legit point, DF.
Not because every Nike shoe i put on my feet starts to stink after a short while. Even Nike Skateboarding models, of which i got a pair since three years now. Not that they are so durable, but i use em only to mow the lawn. Skating in them makes me wanna put them outside in the sunlight for two weeks   Angry

Same thing happens to me - 3weeks and the shoes are outside the back door . Only trainers I can wear are Adidas or ASICS- give them a try  Smiley

No worries, i'm a Skater. I wear Etnies and E's since decades... I like Cupsoles and the Nike SB was a single attempt to try a shoe with a vulcanized sole again, mainly because of better board feel but also with sufficient shock absorbance through their superb insoles.
Asics are too wide for my foot, as are Vans. Maybe i try Adidas in the near future just to not leave em out. I wore Adidas shoes in 1988 last time.

Seems like "the market" still wants to suppress Bitcoin's price climb, eh?

I like DC hightops..
Not a great skater, but likely top 10% for my age easily..

Unfortunately it's incorrect: you can't send on-chain Bitcoin for $0.01, $0.05 is the minimum.

Is Western Union seriously advertising to send only $50 (or less) for a whopping $5 fee? That's quite a lot, who's so desperate for a few bucks they're willing to pay 10% or more on a small amount?

The "unbanked"..

Had a hard day at work today..
Made half my years wages on bitcoin (XCP NFTs) in the last week.. HODLing in BTC..
Thinking "whats the point?"..
Dont really want to spend it..
One day..
I believe..

No matter the soon coming ATH I'll be hodling for years..
1 or 2 more halvenings..
Retire?

I can stay poor for a while longer..

You're making me feel paranoid.

You are likely your own worse enemy in that respect.. so I would consider that it probably would be better to look internally than to expect that some udder peep is causing you internal issues.

I have some difficulties with claims that "bitcoin is getting held back".. yeah sure there are financialization dynamics, yet some of these variety of dynamics is a process including the extent to which folk are going to agree to have someone else hold their keys rather than holding their keys directly... and when people are shorting an asset (or fractionally reserving for that matter) in which possession can be achieved way better and easier than historical asset classes.. they do run risks of getting reckt pretty damned badly.. so yeah, sure there is some gaming of the systems, and surely some of us want some of those BIG players to get reckted into their senses in order to show the power of king daddy and the ability to hold it directly... even while some folks are playing games with it.

Well hopefully you know how to calculate how much you need.  Measuring from one days price performance (or profits vampire sucked out of some likely worthless crap) may well be quite dangerous... and some of us (perhaps ONLY one) have methods to attempt to measure wealth, especially if held in bitcoin or thought about in bitcoin value accumulated, in order that we (royal, perhaps?) do not end up pulling the fuck you lever too early based on such bitcoin wealth accumulated.

Hint: think about potential bitcoin bottoms rather than tops nor bitcoin spot price, even though there tend to be quite a few variety of ways to calculate being able to retain fuck you status (and perhaps even excel within it, once you have determined that you have reached it - of course, within parameters that you set for yourself).

I understand that you were joking and even perhaps exaggerating, but if we really try to be somewhat introspective (if we have such abilities),

Nope, not exaggerating. I had a beard almost to my belly button and torched it up to about 2 inches from my jawline. Went up pretty quick and smelled horrible but it was fun and the whole bar had a great laugh so really that is all I care about in life.

XCP NFT? Is this something very esoteric? I see that you can trade them on OpenSea.
I am just not fashionable enough to know which one have any value and which one's don't.
I probably even have some laying around in some wallets.
IMHO, soon people will start sending NFTs to accounts for free.

After Joe Biden threatening Americans and their businesses over vaccines I'm surprised Bitcoin isn't skyrocketing right now.

I know where I would put most of my assets if I employed more than 100 people. Definitely not US Dollars.

People living in North Korea have bigger problems than worrying about how to buy Bitcoin. - Like living in North Korea.

After Joe Biden threatening Americans and their businesses over vaccines I'm surprised Bitcoin isn't skyrocketing right now.

Ive also been pondering this. I think we are right before that moment. 100k Christmas.

Oh my, Hueristic.

When I said that you were perhaps "exaggerating," I was not referring to your burning of your beard.  I never even questioned the truth of the matter of that particular assertion beyond just asserting that I thought that you were into the infliction of self-mutilations.

My assertion that you were exaggerating was about the above particular cited comment... that I will cite for you again..

>>>>>>>Actually nothing you have ever said has nor will ever change my posting habits. j/k<<<<<<

Can you see that statement, now that I have highlighted it?

Life is short enjoy every moment.

Sure... no problem with that.

Well your ongoing decisions to misquote me and to change my username within the header quotes - demonstrates your own inclinations to allow your emotions to interfere with any kind of potential useful adult (let's say someone older than 12 - not trying to insult the mature 12 year olds) message that you might be trying to send through your immature proclamation.

Remember that dipshit lambiebambie had a tendency to engage in similar kinds of immature behaviors of fabricating quotes and then responding to them?

Sure, I am not even saying that you guys are the same person or that your emotionalism are coming out through your posts in the same exact ways, even though there are some similarities in terms of how you seem to be trying to deal with matters through purposeful misrepresentations that you are perhaps trying to show yourself to be uniquely creative.. supposedly.. supposedly..

 - but really your "changing the words" posts seem to say quite a bit more about various ways that you are lacking in argument, substance and genuineness than it says about some possible defects that I could possibly have (if such a thing could even be possible).
