Once again bitcoin fails to get above 63000. Time to accept it’s over for 3-4 more years.

Sell.

You're right...  We're doomed.

Oh, wait!

OT: Literally the beanie baby craze of the crypto world. This will all end badly.

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/122884/cryptopunk-worth-850000-sells-for-just-a-fraction-of-its-price

Man, who pays 300 ETH = $1.3M for this crap? Has the world really stooped to this level of retardedness?

Remove value from money as the central and private banks do daily and this is what you get. Next up, mass poverty on a feudal scale.

Just gives an indication of just HOW much money will and can probably eventually flow into BTC once the hype of all that claptrap dies down.

There might be a market for specific NFTs like modern art but I think like with all that stuff 99% will fail.

People are buying Hunter Biden paintings for millions. They are completely fucked in the head.
Meanwhile real artists who can paint well probably struggle.

Load of BS.

I really think most of these NFTs are fake sells
Someone create an NFT, buy from himself to manipulate prices and creates attention to sell the rest of NFTs

The problem is there always going to be another hype, another bullshit get rich scheme, another scam. The one thing we can be sure of is that there is stupid money out there, but there is more stupid people!

The saddest part is, the people who got burnt last time, will more than likely get burnt again on the next scam!

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we're still going basically sideways in the low $6xxxx range, albeit in the upper part of that range... currently $63427USD/$78640CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Still coiling.

Once again bitcoin fails to get above 63000. Time to accept it’s over for 3-4 more years.

Exactly. Most is being sold in Ethereum means it will flow back into ETH, which has been seen in the passing weeks/months it seems with many collections as prices come back down nearer to reality. If/when the ETH/BTC chart rolls over (personally I think soon enough) then you can be sure most will be taking their profits back to Bitcoin. They always do eventually, either for profit or at a loss.

There might be a market for specific NFTs like modern art but I think like with all that stuff 99% will fail.

Pretty much. Where 99% of projects will fail, you will likely see 99% of the liquidity flow back to Ethereum then back to Bitcoin (where it originally mainly came from). Bitcoin will sweep up all the dumb money in the meantime, which maybe isn't the worst thing, as it's also not a lot of smart investors, a lot of so called collectibles pros (hoarders) with associated pretentious art speculators, so probably wouldn't invest in BTC in the first place. Maybe in the long-run it will introduce a lot more people to Bitcoin? Most people always get wrecked initially, it's a healthy learning curve. I don't see it being a problem it being on something else to begin with.

While this styrofoam garbage is having it's 10 minutes in the sun, smart people are using a lot of the same sorts of bits and pieces to build things that are actually useful.  For example PayNyms:

I guess only watching some scamming cunt making money out of victims without the theatricality would have been a hard watch.

The problem with these shitcoin things is that they're all short con games. You can only screw the mark for the amount of money they have, and there is little true profit in that.

No, I'm waiting for someone to adapt a proper long con game (pay off, rag, wire) to the altcoin world. That's where the real money is to be made, not doing this crappy gold briick NFT garbage or simple frauds like the wipe.
