Well my arbitrary confirmation bias line continues to hold up?   

Not surprised, as you have more or less drawn the 200 Day MA onto smaller time-frame that price has rebounded from 3 times now



Price structure still not looking great on smaller time-frames. If price can again bounce strong back to $50K (+6% isn't a lot to ask for), it'd look bullish again though.

Still think December 4th was the low, even if we re-test $44K (and 0.382 retracement) just to create a nice looking bear trap.

It'd also provide the third confirmation of support from the 50 Week MA, but still 4 days away from needing that...

I find this pretty tiring. Bulls, it's time to fuck over some bears.

EDIT:
Since my government dropped taxation on trading crypto for crypto, i could trade this easily with 2% of my stash (peanuts, but still makes me more sats), but something in my guts tells me i should not. Almost pulled the trigger at $49.200-ish numbers, but unsure of how low to set buy targets.

Not surprised, on smaller-time frames traders are selling at resistance (200 MA / VPVR point of control), no doubt after buying support. The classic buy support sell resistance strategy.
If you're day trading, then 4% move on leverage within an hour or so is not a profit to turn down. The current trading range works well for them, until it no longer does at least.

I find this pretty tiring. Bulls, it's time to fuck over some bears.

Still think this consolidation will break to the upside, but requires more long-term confirmation. Accumulators are relatively patient these days, so there isn't a rush. Already had the bounce three times from 200 Day MA, so Daily time-frame is tentatively confirming a pattern of support at this level, even if confirming lower highs. But still waiting for third confirmation of Weekly support, which won't be possible until end of week at earliest.

What direction, leveraged long you mean? I wouldn't recommend shorting price at support in a bull market, not until it breaks at least, then a very tight stop loss required to avoid bear trap. If you're talking about shitcoins I'd avoid right now, BTC dominance is bouncing again from support (like in May and September), so is terrible timing as it's still profit-taking season.

Otherwise ttrying to "swim against the tide" as a trader is generally not recommended in markets...

If we count our November 9th price of $69k as our top, then our $41,967 would have been about a 39% correction, and the price at the time of your post of around $47,620 would have been around the 31% correction zone.

Our current BTC price bouncenings, as I type this post, that have been bouncing between around $48,000 and $49,310 in the past 25 minutes or so would be within about a 28.5% to 30.5% correction range.


What to do?  What to do?


Some people seem confused about what to do. 

Frequently, many of us, and not just yours truly, have attempted to encourage both regular buying no matter what the price in the form of DCA but also buying on dips as a way to attempt to supplement DCA, and surely all of these price correction areas seem to be sufficient amounts of dippenings to at least buy some, and yeah, if there might be more dip, then there should be some attempt to keep some dry powder to be able to buy more on the dip, if you can.. and if some of us (not yours truly) do not feel inclined to buy more lillie fiends on dips or if we have run out of money, then the alternative acceptable strategy would be to HODL through the whole matter..

....and yeah.. I suppose anyone selling in order to hopefully buy back some lillie fiends lower or maybe to attempt to protect themselves from some of their earlier mistakes of buying too much and not having any dry powder available.. may well not have adequately planned.. but who knows? who knows?  Are we here to judge?  sure, maybe sometimes we are.. but sometimes it is also not really very clear about some individual circumstances unless they 'splain their lil selfies.

Painting posts entirely purple is absolutely legal and acceptable.

Why? Because it is completely arbitrary and does not accomplish what is intended.
Assume several scenarios:
1. A visitor from out of state was traveling, went to piss past a purple post. He/she has no idea, thinks that it is some kind of a decoration-bam, wham. Not exactly the same, but in Florida a nice Japanese student visitor was killed through the door when he was simply participating in Halloween celebration.
2. A local drunkard drove his truck past the "signs", went out to do #1 as well...bam..wham!

In both cases, those who do the shootin' would be dragged through the courts, charged with manslaughter, and even IF they prevail, it is DEFINITELY not worth it if lives were not REALLY in danger.
Protect the property? Well, bears and rabbits shit on your property daily with no recourse..well maybe they got shot too from time to time, which is fine.

Additionally, assume scenario #2 happened. If the guy/gal who was shot in this scenario was also local, you would NEVER be safe.
His or her relatives...they got 'them telescope rifles as well, don't ya think?

Again, shooting mere trespassers is not legal in any case. Urban legends, old wives tales and the fact that you would probably get away with it if you weren't completely stupid notwithstanding. It's merely supposed to be a no trespassing sign. Though I do agree that it's really not very good from the point of view of someone who has never heard of this totally non-obvious custom.

By the way, I do recall reading that there were other parts to the Japanese student (though I think that was Texas) that were not being reported (quelle surprise) which, while not making the event particularly better, do shine a different light on things.
