We're not going back to barter are we?

I believe current theory is that barter was never really much of a thing and that some kind of fungible unit of account comes into play pretty much immediately. Though surely there's no way to know for sure.

Anyone who has done time in prison or jail knows that something quickly becomes the main unit of barter. Sometimes the guards will try to stamp out all trade, get rid of the current item of trade, something else rapidly takes it's place.

I was in jail once and they would give out these small cool-aid packets with dinner that you could mix with water. They were small, portable, fairly durable. 2 would generally buy someone's desert or 3 for a bland hamburger.

Of course, none of us know the future of bitcoin prices with any kind of specificity, but there are a lot of ways that you should be able to build up your BTC portfolio so that you are never selling all of your BTC. and fucking around with gambling strategies when bitcoin is likely amongst the best of upside and wide-scale asymmetric bets that any of us are likely to have in our lifetimes.  

You are right in saying this but this technique of not selling all your holdings when you are getting good profit can be master by people who have deep understandings of bitcoin and that comes with time.
Just like now I realize that I made a mistake of selling all my holdings when bitcoin crossed 20k$ for the very first time. I learned this technique after I made a mistake, not many will learn this unless they made that mistake too.

Ironically this is the bitter truth.

Funny enough, these are the same people that feel bitcoin has gone too high in price for a common man to invest #Sentiments.

In the end, all you could have said is, fvck it! Buy and hold!!!

I can see from afar that the people of Sri Lanka are already up for revolution of their country's political delinquency. This is time for change for a new government.
Sri Lanka’s embattled President Gotabaya Rajapaksa reiterated on Monday his intention to step down on July 13, as protesters settled into their occupation of the presidential residence, sleeping in his bed and cooking meals in his kitchens.

Everybody cares, especially when they eventually realise it effects them and people they care about (if they "care" about anyone that is of course)...... apart from the truly retarded, who lack the capability or understanding to realise that they should care, and that many people do care.


Those that do not care, or lack the intelligence or empathy to do so, deserve what they get.


Lets give it another 6-9 months (for the ultra slow to catch up) and see how many people "care" then.
