Bitch please .............. Gold produces more Energy each day than the mining grid uses the whole year worldwide. The mining grid doesnt use little lemme tell you this much. Gold is the most conductive material that exist.

Mining gold uses fossil fuel
Mining Bitcoin uses electricity like renewables

Yeah but if they build ammonia/hydrogen engines it would be mineable  without fossil fuel.

Not that I argue for gold as a value store.

Gold has an issue which is on any give day a new huge supply could be found.

It is possible that gold is more common than copper which would be good for electrical builds but terrible for gold hodlers.

Gold also has some decently BIG issues with verifiability, too.

Fuck gold.. and even considering it seriously.. because gotta thing about portability and divisibility too.. and also how fucking easy it is to take possession of your bitcoin, whether taking possession of 1 satoshi.. or 150k bitcoin or quantities between those amounts.

JJG called me a "walking moral hazard" once.

At least in the whole scheme of things, you appear to be handling such completely neutral and objective feedback well.. so far.....

Just send me your therapy bill after we get above $1 million.. .. I will set aside around 1/3 of my current BTC stash so that I will have some flexibility in contemplating possible ways to further ponder upon the matter at that point.. if such a point comes to the world (of course completely within my discretion, including but not limited the creation of an NFT.. if they are still a thingie by then?)..

There are limits to these kinds of matters... ..

I feel bbbbbaaaaaadddd.........  real badddddddd

not..
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

BTC.d  following the channel and towards 41%
Alts will surge for short time and BTC.D touch the channel bottom. I'm more concerned with the BTC as I'm hoping for Good Green week.

Fucking great shit, dudes!!!  Cool
It seems i have found a remedy against that Chronic Fatigue Pain-In-The-Ass.
Nattokinase, alternating with Lumbrokinase every other day, combined with Red Ginseng. I'm on this for a good week now.
Today i was roofing a house with friends, 8 hours of hard work in glaring sunlight, and i feel really tired, but not exhausted.
This would have sent me to bed after one or two hours, leaving me feeling exhausted and brainfoggy for a few more days. But today there's no brainfog, no muscle twitching/pains, no fatigue, no heart palpitations, no Post Excertional Malaise at all!
I*m feeling fucking great, i finally shaked off that fucking curse that got me for the last 11 years!

When i got a hint that Red Ginseng, combined with the two other enzymes, removed blood clotting and Small Fiber Neuropathy in Long Covid patients, i thought: "Hey, this might work with my postviral fatigue syndrome...", and it did.

When i watched the Bitcoin charts at the end of the day, it turned out to be the cream topping of all  Cool

Now there are only the memory problems left, and that high sensibility to noise and light. I'm sure there's a way i can get rid of that too  Grin

This is awesome! My wife has been hit with covid a second time and being a CFS sufferer it's really knocked the shit out of her. You able to PM me or post here the amounts of each you've been taking? If it can help her out I'm more than willing to try

Sure, always happy to help  Smiley

day1:
1-2x Nattokinase 100mg caps (2.000 FU's - which is the concentration of the active ingredient)
1-2x Red Ginseng caps 600mg (120mg of Ginsenoside)
day 2:
1-2x Lumbrokinase 20mg caps
1-2x Red Ginseng caps 600mg

(&repeat)

On very active days i stick to the double dose for now, each one in the morning and early afternoon. Single dose seemed to do the trick after no more than a week.
Avoid Ginseng when taking blood thinners, since it can enhance problems with bleeding and wound healing. No (other) negative effects recorded.

Another benefit i got with the Ginseng-Kinase's mix is quite noticeable easing of breathing. It seems to do as some studies reflect, improving the blood flow/supply in the finest of vessels, which are also supplying nerve endings, the main problem with Fibromyalgia (muscle pains from light to normal activity).
Lumbrokinase is a bit more pricey (relatively. So it's still affordable), you should get the Red Ginseng and NK capsules pretty cheap. Just watch customer's feedback about supplements, there is a broad spectrum of quality in the supplement market.

For completeness:

I also had a Vitamin-B mix with RDA's of B1,B2,B3 and B6 around 300-400% and B12 no more than 120% RDA (i don't tolerate B12 too well), which had positive kognitive effects, and an additional dose of Thiamine (Vit. B1) 400-500mg after waking up.

I also take 25mg of zinc (just before sleep) for many years, which helps with mucosa recovery, but this is more targeted at my fructose-malabsorption problems, as well as a simultaneous dose of Bromelain (500mg).

That's all. Dietary Vitamin B and Zinc enhancement is being advised at ages of 40+, when cell activity is beginning to slowly decrease over the years.

I wish you and your wife the best in combating that nasty fatigue!

Hi WO brethren,

It's been a moment.

While observing this depressing price action, I have been busy rebuilding my old lightning node.

I wanted to see if I could become a decent routing node, so I decided to make a fresh start with some proper hardware (NUC Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD), accessible through both Tor and a public IP (opposed to my old Raspberry Pi4 Tor-only old node).

Within 4 weeks I reached a top 100 ranking according to the Terminal rank.

Although I'm no longer a top-100-ranked node (currently ranked 115) I have had some decent activity last week -- 1554 routing events with a total of 408M sats (4.08 btc) transferred. Not bad.

*edit
@BobLawblaw There is such a strong demand to send sats your way. Roughly half of my failed HTLC's is through our channel. That's why Ive raised the fees. I have also tried to rebalance our channel, but it has a very low success rate...

Another unrelated thing to Lightning -- I just celebrated 10 years as a bitcoiner.

Looking throuh my email history, I came across this from 2012/07/13

Kapiton was the first BTC-exchange in Sweden, started in 2011 but defunct since 2013 (tragic story where owner commited suicide).

Anyway, happy 10-year anniversity to myself. Yay.

Yeah man, give me a holla when you head that way again.... But in short if its the islands/coast you want, then go Krabi, if you got money go Railay....  Phuket is ok I suppose if you explore a bit, or you go there for the vegetarian festival madness, it is not a big as a whore house as Patayya but still pretty bad. I prefer the islands of Samui, Pha Ngan, and Tao to Phuket, even though they are also mega touristy... all depends what you are looking for really in your trip, Khao Sok national park is also cool, or up north of Thailand in the hills is also good.  Anyways lemme know when you head that way.

I am more interested in BTC bottoming out, but I can go anytime , its more some other practicalities I need to sort out.  I want to go house hunting in a few countries, and set up some new bases, looking to eject from UK on a permanent basis,  and want to set up several foreign residencies officially,  so need to combine that in my plans....and, moving pets around the place is hard, so will do some trips maybe 1-3 months at a time, get things in place, do some reconnoitring, some relaxing,  and then once I have found some properties I like, and I get my affairs in order, make the big move(s), then I want to set up some polytunnels n stuff, (I want to set up a homestead) , find some local workers, and then travel more.

(not liking he looks of the airports atm though, seems staff shortages are screwing up a lotta places)

So you are frequent flyer to different destinations. The best thing I like about Thai is that it's cheap, you get good hotels in 30$, I am talking about 2015 may be rates are increased now. Its very clean where ever you go. I travelled to Bangkok and Phuket only. I will defiantly contact you if I travel to Thailand. Thanks for the offer.

It's best that you travel to different countries and not static to one location like 99% of the world is.

Notice how WEF sponsored propaganda outlets claiming we are already in their provoked WW3.
All whilst Hunter Biden is still classed as a decent, morally just, law abiding first class model citizen.

Putin is already at war with Europe. There is only one way to stop him
https://uk.yahoo.com/news/putin-already-war-europe-only-070030984.html

Quote
Time to wake up and smell the cordite. Like shockwaves from an exploding missile, Vladimir Putin’s war on Europe’s edge is rapidly rolling westwards, blasting its way through the front doors of homes, businesses and workplaces from Berlin to Birmingham. Its fallout seeds a toxic rain of instability, hardship and fear.

Berlin to Birmingham? Really?  Roll Eyes

Quote
Fortunately, there is an alternative: using Nato’s overwhelming power to decisively turn the military tide.

As previously argued here, direct, targeted, forceful western action to repulse Russia’s repulsive horde is not a vote for a third world war. It’s the only feasible way to bring this escalating horror to a swift conclusion while ensuring Putin, and those who might emulate him, do not profit from lawless butchery.

Really? NATO should invade a country that it has no association with so that it can forcefully stop another country it doesn't like from invading it?

And considering all the actions the collective west have taken so far that the article actually does state have backfired, military escalation would definitely NOT backfire?

Genius of the year: Simon Tisdall
wiki: From 1971 to 1974, he studied history, politics and philosophy at Downing College, Cambridge.

Obviously he was too busy studying during that period to notice what was going on in Vietnam at the time.
And last year when the USA left Afghanistan with its tail between its legs he was on holiday.
