Everyone hate 9 to 5 job but still we have to do that. Crypto is a new way to earn income. Thanks to crypto I can now afford a better life style.

Well I'm happy not to live in the USA.
We get way more vacation with a regular job. Also job security is way better. Sick leave no matter how long you need to recover, etc.

Americans think they live in the most free country in the world but that's simply not true.

Yet average GDP for every EU country except for Luxemburg is still lower than that of the USA.

Certain job sectors in fact across Europe such as IT pay pittance salaries compared to the USA. Sure, you only have private healthcare in the States but it is also of a much higher quality.
Many Europeans need to flock exactly to the States to get experimental cancer treatments simply not available in Europe.

I think you are pretty much the definition of an ignorant European who stupidly have outsourced energy security to a country you for some bizarre historical reason hate and you have also installed countless layers of government thinking it will protect you from trouble where in fact it is turning into a similar political setup that Adolf Hitler wanted to achieve: Germany in control and no one else gets a say. When someone wants to leave said political system such as the UK you shame them and completely forget it was them who saved your asses from all speaking German or Russian by now.

It is also my understanding that the once secure job market in the likes of The Netherlands now with year only contracts is nowhere near as safe as it used to be. Plus the constant mumblings over ditching the mortgage tax break would make the average worker / mortgage payer much poorer if it were to go.

It's all relative. Cost of living in the US is insane. Job security is non-existent. And salaries are low if you take cost of living into account.

The healthcare argument is a stupid one. USA ranks 18th in the world and my little postage stamp of a country ranks higher. For experimental treatments of cancer the Netherlands, Germany, the UK and France rank the highest in the world.

And you can have the best in the world but who cares if you can't get access to it. If I get cancer, I get helped. You get cancer it's a big fuck-you if you can't pay hundreds of thousand dollars.

Edit: I'm in the Netherlands and here you have a 1 year contract. They can extend it twice and then they must give you a permanent running contact. It's been like this for a long time.
But a full contract is usually a negotiation point. Haven't heard that anything changed, but it doesn't affect me as a contracter.

European countries always dominate the top 10 index, better quality of life.

I've visited the US a couple of times, found it to be feeling pretty un-free, e.g. because of extreme poverty you see, because of the many silly rules e.g. not being able to say shit on TV or radio or not being able to get a beer without something to eat, but also because of the infrastructure which restricts you from movement if you don't have a car (e.g. if you're a kid or drunk). Also the harsh punishments for little things like drugs. And also the hard time people get for being themselves, you see a lot less diversity on the street unless you go to a hotspot like San Fransisco or New York.

Maybe Bitcoinbunny should visit the NL sometime. If you like freedom I'm sure you'll like it!

Yeah I am a USA Queens NYC born person. But I spent 5 years in US Navy and I can easily say a shit ton of Americans have no idea how nice other countries are.

My favorite country is the Island of Mauritius

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauritius

We spent 2 weeks on an extended shore leave a simply wonderful spot.

Australia was also pretty good spot. (Won 5200 Aud at a racetrack) pretty good money for 1980.

Should have seen the look they gave me at the airport when we went to cash the 5200 Australian into I think 3700 usd.

They said to me where is your passport I said I don't have a passport. Their faces dropped in shock. I said don't worry its cool I have a US Military photo id. they all laughed. The cab driver that took me to the racetrack that they came back to the track at the end of the day he bought I would be lucky. he was right. I gave him a really good tip 300 AUD I wonder how many times he told that story to his friends in Sydney, Australia.

I have also been to Canada very often it is nice. Mexico a lot when I was in SanDiego

Mexico reminds me of NYC you need to know someone to enjoy and be relatively safe.

As an aside

I could rant about the defects of the USA I did a few days ago on this tread.

Do not get sick/disabled in the USA when you are young.

Do not get dementia in the USA I am dealing with my 71 year old bro-in-law he is very healthy except for the dementia.
Ie this is likely to be a 5-10 year issue. Two people me and my wife are not out to fuck him.
The rest of the relatives would fuck him and take what they could get. He never married has no kids , but there are 40 cousins in the area.
I can tell you the system of laws for a person like him are terrible if the family is honest and is not looking to hurt him.
His sister (my wife ) is struggling with dealing with him. It takes months of paper work to get shit done.

End of rant.

But that was a lovely day at the track. Horse's name was Tall Piper.

Hit on Win Place  and trifecta.

He is right you are wrong.

LN is actually pos

and BTC is now a hybrid coin

While I will be attacked for saying DOGE has a far better 50 100 150 200 year viewpoint due to its decreasing inflation plan vs BTC depending on only transaction fees and then hurting transaction fees with LN setup.
It is why I hodl 2 coins

BTC and Doge

at 65 I will not live to see Doge surpass BTC,

but  My guess is in 2077  Doge will show it's decreasing inflation method is better then btc and the LN net work

I think BTC should have put the LN off and that the LN is what damaged the spring 2021 65k+ numbers.

But I digress.

Just hodl Doge and BTC you will do well.

The EU concept was Germany's plan B if the war was lost, to continue their dominance over Europe.
Sadly the occupied Europe of WW2 has long forgotten why they are not all now speaking German.

Am I correct in thinking you mostly live in Netherlands. I understand that thousands of farmers are to be forced to cease farming because of some misguided Green policy on reducing Nitrate pollution. Only to import food which has likely been produced under the exact same systems. Thereby outsourcing pollution, that's OK then.
Europe and indeed the entire world need as much food production this year as is possible to prevent mass starvation for those that cannot bid the high market prices needed to secure essential commodities. Shame on the Netherlands' well heeled population for their efforts to reduce that food supply.
Oh the US is no different! we are being run by the inmates from the asylum, the latest the Climate Bill $369 billion, what utter fuckwits could have conceived this and at this time in history when the world is on the brink.

Farmers are not ceasing their work they are just negotiating which is normal here.
We have a tradition of getting things worked out so I have no doubt many will get compensated etc.
For a country that mostly lives under sea level we know how to pull through together.

Because we are a highly populated country with one of the highest densities it isn't strange that we generate a lot of nitrate and other greenhouse gases. Also we have one of the most advanced farming industries in the world increasing that load. Importing has always been cheaper for us and it also distributes the nitrate load. Most farming we do is for export.

Countries like France have way more space so it's not a strange concept to move farming to other places in the EU.
The problem is finding a workable solution for the farmers which I believe they will find.

On the flipside we have a working democracy so we can always kick the government out if it becomes unworkable.

And for the WW2 propaganda... without the people from the European continent you would all be living in a tipi running around with bows and arrows  Kiss

And remember who hired all the nazis when the war ended ;-)

Yup. We have a shit load of parties having to work together. No single majority or two party working against each other shit.

Far from perfect but more dictator-coup-proof...

I don't understand how they allow these systems to operate when they are literally less safe than a drunk driver and they would not be able to pass a driving test in the first place.

This doesn't seem like the right spot for this discussion, but it's been proven statistically time and time again that their self driving system is much safer than a normal unassisted human driver.  Sure, with autopilot technologies there are going to be crazy freak accidents and that is concerning, but overall the number of deaths and accidents are way down.  You can look up the data, it's quite a bit of a difference and why Tesla is going to be able to offer insurance for significantly cheaper than the competition.  Still, accidents like you describe are heartbreaking.
