But you know what kind of innovation we are dealing with here. And seeing prices being at and under the last cycle's peak, which was almost 5 years ago, tells me that something has changed. (We also didn't have the usual strong parabolic)
IMO we are about to enter Gandhi's "then they fight you" phase or we are already in it. Bitcoin is now old enough to take part in the big boys' game. And they
will play with it. Of course, I hope they'll get burned. But as long as they have limitless Dollars as the world reserve currency, they can push the market anywhere they want.

Hm? You seem to be posting contradicting statements causing me to speculate that you might be all over the place in your thoughts and/or your way of expressing these kinds of BTC price related matters.
If I go by your forum registration date, then I see that you could be pretty new to the BTC process, and I don't know.. if you are establishing a BTC position, then it can take a decently amount of time to establish a position, unless you just rushed into the matter, and I understand that people do that with a lump sum investment approach into bitcoin.. which seems to contribute to more emotionalisms about the BTC price.
But if you already had established a BTC position, and then you are largely just continuing to invest then that could be another story.
Maybe you might need to say a bit about your perspective as it relates to your BTC position, because sometimes you can supplement your approach with DCA and buying on dips in order to help with some of the psychology of the whole matter? Whatever approach we take should attempt to help us to balance our psychology and finances in order that we try to NOT become too emotional about the short term moves in the BTC price - because for sure the BTC price can move in directions that are against our preferences for way longer than we wished that would happen, so we should attempt to have a plan for dealing with BTC price movements no matter which direction they go and no matter how far they go and for how long they stay in places that might be less than preferable to our own hopes/expectations.
Have you been DCAing and buying on dips? And I know that some of us will buy on dips and DCA, and then sometimes run out of money, yet if we run out of money, then it could be possible to just lower your DCA amount so that you don't have to get so worked up about BTC price direction matters... yet of course, there is some need for a cashflow if you want to keep buying BTC on a regular basis, even during prolonged negative price performance times.
Maybe you should 'splain your situation a wee bit moar better in order maybe some of us might be able to understand why it might appear that you are talking about down while wishing for UP and whatever else is seeming to be cutting both directions in your recent posts in these here parts. Of course, there is no need to give exact details, just some ballpark ideas, maybe?

If you buy a half assed dip, you are slowing down the dump. Just let it dump and then after.. you buy when it starts rising. It is better to wait the 12K bottom then to buy at 20 and regret. If it grows from 12K to 19K then you know you should buy, but now it is just uncertainty and we should just let it crash.
