as it fucks with my ignore choices.

Yes I apologize to everyone that it effected. I know for the future I was not familiar with them enough to know I just thought they believed what they was saying and got triggered at the "btc is not a currency" said with such confidence Cheesy

No worries.

I ignore him 100%

I cannot tell if you are trolling me

Obviously.

AverageGlabella, you may have good intentions but arguing with that guy will lead to nothing.

He came here begging for 3 Bitcoins... yeah 3 full coins .... when he didn't get them, he started trashing Bitcoin.

Judging from his posts, he has a child's intellect with an inflated ego.  Constantly talking stuff he knows nothing about.

Wouldn't wonder if he's 15 yo or so.

15 tops. He also seems to have other issues.

The kid should take his meds.

I came for 369 Ya df.. I lost more than 5000 Coins ( YES 5000 WHOLE COINS ) in Mt Gox and i did more for this dumbcoin at first than your lifetime can provide

i am glad i didnt start mining again in 2014...

Roger?  Is that you?

Ps:

Since you are such a BIG baller (wannabe), just imagine with your less than 15-year-old little pea-sized brain, if you had been buying a bit more than $1k BTC per month (let's say $250 per week) since the time that MTGOX closed its exchange (let's use March 1, 2014 as our begin to weekly buy BTC date), you would have invested about $114k, and you would have accumulated a bit more than 110 BTC.

Sure, you would not have reached your fantasy of 369 BTC, but on your own and with your own resources, you would have been able to accumulate more than 36x your original 3 BTC beggening amount.

Imagine that!!   Shocked Shocked

It seems to me that even if you have expensive tastes, 110 BTC should be enough to have had given you more options, as compared to your having few options with your being a no coiner and merely having $114k that you could have placed into bitcoin over the past almost 9 years.

So if you can figure out how to accumulate BTC and to make sure that you do not lose it along the way or to sell because you have weak hands (surely a dweeb like you has weak hands, no?).

So even if you had been buying BTC on an exchange, if you withdrew your BTC from the exchange at least once a quarter or maybe more frequently  than that (I.e. after each purchase), then you still would have mostly been accumulating BTC for the past nearly 9 years rather than whining about not having any coins and hating on others who happen to have coins.

You may well could have also converted away from begging and acting like a bitter loser of a nocoiner who seems to not have little to no clues regarding what bitcoin is or why it could end up saving you from your pea-brained lil selfie.

my only problems will find out soon what reality looks like

Can you imagine with your less than 15 year old pea-brain what kinds of options you would have had with a current stash of 110 BTC?

Sure there are some members who might consider that you should be nervous about having 110 BTC, but if you are merely continuing to buy $250 per week, I am not sure how much you should be worried about the value status of your coins, even if the BTC price might dip more from here.

It is not guaranteed that BTC prices will dip from here, but it is not guaranteed that they will go up, either.. so in that regard, what is the difference in options that 110BTC versus $114k in the bank give you?

Wouldn't you still rather to have 110 BTC right now rather than $114k in a bank account?

Or maybe you would have been investing your $114k in some other asset over the past almost 9 years, and you would have been able to earn more than $114k? Maybe you could have doubled or tripled your $114k investment amount to be able to achieve $228k or even up to $342k?

But that amount of appreciation of your investment (into something other than BTC) still would not hold a candle up to 110 BTC's current value of $1,815,000 (that is 110 BTC x $16,500 BTC price).

Right?

AmInotrite?  again?

Hah JJG you and the Millions of like you and the WO seem like the only PeaHeads and Tadpoles Cheesy

Your peahead is just too far up your arse to detect it Grin

Exactamente!!!!!

Now you are starting to get it, you little dweeb.

There are millions who are somewhat similar to me.. .

but ONLY millions, and therefore, we are still in early days.

If you have not started your $250 per week investment into BTC (aka dollar cost averaging), then perhaps you should start today?

And if you are not as BIG of a BIG BALLER as you claim to be, then maybe you should start with an amount of investment that is more attainable and sustainable and so that you do not overdo it, and $10 per week is better than nothing and surely better than remaining in your current bitter no coiner status - especially since you seem to acknowledge that we are still in early days.. with ONLY millions rather than 100s of millions of bitcoiners.

Even seemingly disgruntled and negative on bitcoin losers like you, deserve to be saved by my lil precious.   Wink Wink Wink

The GBTC situation is starting to get interesting. There are rumors going around that they lost their coins after they tweeted that they couldn’t publish proof of holdings because of security issues… If GBTC lost their coins in the Genesis blowup things could get real interesting. That would lead to so many different regulatory and market scenarios that I’m anxious to see how it plays out. One thing I believe will be certain, in several months we’ll all be wishing for the kind of price stability we’re seeing now.

It seems far more likely that they are referring to the “white hat” funds only, as the “black hat” funds demonstrated much more sophistication in blockchain use that could be expected of a regulator.

How the fuck could they lose 600,000+ coins.

If true brace for a spectacular melt down.

On the other hand, if they haven't lost them FTX might have shown us Bitcoin's bottom.
