Fell asleep watching this boring Brazil match and had a nightmare BTC crashed to below $7000.

 

I had the same dream. Bitcoin price fell to under a few dollars for a few minutes. The dream quickly became a nightmare when I tried to buy the dip but my internet kept failing, my password kept getting rejected and my computer kept lagging. And as I kept trying to press the buy button, Bitcoin shot 70k, 80k, 90k and over 100k. I had no chance of buying.

yeah swap lungs with my wife.

pretty good chance fisrt covid variant has given her long term lung damaged which is yet to be checked.

Basically think cystic fibrous. but just use the word fibrous.

Her lungs are simply continuing to scar.

So to anyone that did not get hammered by covid cool. Just remember that people did get hammered.

We got first version in very late dec 2019. She went to hospital with 2x pneumonia in Jan 2020. And while she survived. she now has a condition that appears to slowly scar and keep scarring her lungs.

Hoping doctors can halt the continued scar growth.

Glad this has not happened to more of the wo people.
but not glad it seems to have happened to my wife.

Many suggest to put their money into a house and/or into a 401k - and really, I don't really have any problem with that plan.. but given what we have found out in the last 2-3 years (and yeah maybe we should have known even before that?) something still seems deficient about a plan that might ONLY build wealth through property and a 401k plan..

For sure, I have kind of known that something seems deficient about a property and 401k plan since late 2013 and thereafter - when I started to stack sats (even though "we" did not call it "stacking sats back then.... back in the good ole days... hahahahahaha)..

I think that part of my point is that the case for bitcoin and the case against putting all your eggs into the property and/or 401k basket should have become more clear since March 2020 and thereafter (as the information was sinking in regarding how extremely sloppy some of the money printing was and some of the other seemingly signs of desperation coming out of governing officials.. or who were showing these kinds of desperation signs??? I hate to pick on the govt... exactly.. ).. .  ..

... but anyway.. .. how much to stack.. surely remains.. discretionary and individualistic.. .. and some people are coming around.. even though some others still do remain scared, and some of the scared ones likely get the wrong message when they see various rich folks getting reckt.. lots of them getting reckt in recent times and quite a few of those rich folks were involved in BTC.. and yeah.. various forms of 3rd party custody, leveraging and/or gambling related to BTC and even related to other "cryptos" that seem to be related to BTC.. but scaredy cats are sometimes too fraidy.. to do a wee bit of investigating in order to sort through the information and to figure out that its quite likely that bitcoin is related to ways to be saved.. rather than completely going down with the ship.. so long as some kind of reasonable risk management (mostly maintaining one's own stash) is included in the leveraging and investing strategy.

i am not a specialist in housing construction, but it doesn't seem very luxurious or long lasting.

Some are 2x6 with plywood and foam insulation= a far better home.
the foam makes the home super insulated and way stronger. Cost is more but not crazy more.
A 700000 house would be 720000. The extra 20k would easily be made up in 10 years times as both heating and cooling would be cheaper.
