This is what i think will happen, pretty big dump in about 4~ hours, it could bounce of ~460 but there is a chance market will go full retard and maybe even test 400 again

Thats what I thought, someone who keeps their customers assets probably wasnt rushing to fight to stay open...

The money left on the exchange was eventually returned through IAFCU.

I know I know, I was more thinking in terms of the 'hack' where 20000BTC disapeared though.

Yeah, that made me wary of using the exchange but it was oh so convenient. But eventually I pulled my money out and moved it to that flakey and more expensive other exchange because it was run by a fat French guy everybody trusted.

I personally don't think that it would make much of a difference if they were dropped from the charts the fact that China has so many coins means that no matter how much everbody wants to disengage with them and rally the arbers will keep the price in line with China.

I wish i could give market more credit, thinking that it gained some sort of resilience, but so far its been my mistake and i lost tons of potential profits.
The safer play is just to sell on any kind of Chinese news even without reading it and wait at least 8 hours before thinking of buying back. Just doing that shit would print you money.

There is a chance sure, thats why i am not shorting this one. Just saying that the path of least resistance is dump to 460-470.

I think next ~4 hours could be a bulltrap and small fake recovery, or just going sideways

I suck at reading the market but if anything the last few days seem extremely bullish to me. We just want to go up and up. It's just idiotic China news that takes us down everytime. But as soon as the panic calms we go up again.
Now i certainly expect more China fud but i don't see anything bearish. Am i missing something?

So 18th another deadline? Even tho on paper it looks like a easy sell, the market could be doing the "sell on rumor, buy on news" again. I think i will wait this one out, even tho sitting on coins when it could test 2900 sucks, i ll rather take that pain than risk being squeezed by another sudden China-pump

It had been mentioned several times before.

I bet the article is simply mistranslated and April 15th was never a 'deadline' for actually closing the accounts but was about something else.

As far as i understood the situation.

15th wasn't the deadline for closing accounts.  It was the deadline for new fiat deposits.  and the 18th was the deadline for fiat withdrawals at least on Huobi.

No matter how much you dislike it its the way it is at the moment, anyone who doesnt follow stands to loose money. Traders are making money off it, its simple. China news = sell, by back in $40 time so why wouldnt they follow them. Its not right but its how it is.

I think the funny thing is that a big chunk of sellers are selling because "sheeps are selling, price will go down, so i will short as well". So everyone thinks that everyone else is an idiot and they are the smart ones who are just taking advantage of them.

That is a very precise prediction and I could see that happening as well, but let's face it : there is a lot of volatility and a +60$ out of nowhere is not out of the question

I think so. Traders are becoming increasingly desensitized to China news, and all the PBOC stuff is priced in for now.

My prediction is that we'll end in the $520-$530 range today, and toward ~$555 tomorrow.
