Well, I was largely attempting to refer to the below quote from the below-named member.

While I share the belief that bitcoin or something very like it will play a major role in the future, I think the road there is going to be a lot rougher.

I imagine we will see a huge boom then a bust, after that those who stick around will build the meaning full economy that will allow bitcoin or its successor to dominate.

I don't care about the busts. I am riding this pig wherever it takes me. If it tanks, I'll have a helluva story to tell. I'm sick of half measures. I'm swinging for the fences and If I strike out, so be it.  I won't be some mediocre drone living a life of quiet desperation. I believe in bitcoin and I'm going for broke, knowing the risks.  

Funny thing is that right around the time that his account became inactive, he frequently visited this thread and turned into a bit of a know-it-all bitcoin naysayer.... I did just merit that post, though.. it is a bit of a legendary quote in this forum... even though it seems that he did not follow through with such stated conviction.

I think after the next bull run only institutional investors will be able to hold a full Bitcoin. The price will be out of reach for most of the retail investors.

Do you think everyone will sell to institutional investors? I don't agree that it will be like that, because plan B is to not sell BTC even when they offer us some crazy amounts for it. Besides, if you can use BTC to pay for services and goods, the question arises, why sell?

 I have this insupressible feeling that, like firearms in many countries, tptb will ban bitcoin except for its use in controlling the masses.  The "too big to fail" financial institutions will be allowed to use it but the plebs will be forced to use CBDCs.

Hodl what you can afford to hodl. It does not have to be 1 Bitcoin. Whatever amount you own will be yours. Keep it safe.

Switzerland is worldwide on 3rd place in migrating young talents and HNWI BUT we are 2nd place worldwide by #Lightning node capacity. I am so bullish for Switzerland when SNB is finally putting bitcoinBTC on their balance sheet. The regulatory framework is already top.
