I'd rather bet on the beginning of next year when the deadline for the guys from BlackRock is up - and if anyone gets approved it'll most likely be them.

By the way, the link is not set correctly, so it does not lead to the article Wink

If the manager of Bitcoin is reading this thread, I wanted to make a formal complaint about the price still being suppressed under $30k.

I have a greenhouse to build and a tractor to buy.

Thank you,

-Rancher Bob

Dear Rancher Bob,

The ceo/manager of bitcoin cannot do anything about your tractor/greenhouse dilemmas.

You need to resolve those matters on your own.. ..

.....and what the fuck difference does it make if you sell some of dee cornz at $29k, $30k or $31k?

or even selling anywhere between $25k and $35k for that matter.

Your drama queen diddly-daddly whining - doesn't really make any BIG diff.

Just like Lucius mentioned, that link of yours did not work fillippone, and I am pretty sure the reason is the extra space and "[/url" characters at the end of the text of the opening reference, which I fixed it in the above... but added a bit of redundancy with this additional reference.

https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/08/11/ark-21shares-bitcoin-etf-application-decision-pushed-by-sec/

Substantively, this "delay" does not even seem unusual, because the reason for "the delay" is the SEC's requesting public comment.

the fifth force of nature?

...emanating from bitcoin?
I kid, of course...interesting reading, though.

Imho, bitcoin is a fifth force in the financial markets, though, in addition to stocks, bonds, regular commodities and real estate.

This experiment at CERN have had different postulations to it. While some link it to UFOS, others do link it to whatever suit their narratives.

Well, saying that a substance make up to 27% of the universe yet it is mysterious sounds a kind of weird. Well, we shall see where all these leads.

Just like you said, maybe they might find out the fift force is Bitcoin  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Didn't see this mentioned yet:

We discovered a cryptographic weakness in the widely utilized Libbitcoin Explorer (bx) cryptocurrency wallet tool while following up on mysterious wallet thefts.
The bx seed subcommand for generation of new wallet private key entropy is flawed and produces insecure output.

Do we have a list of compromised wallets?

Waiting for the god damn mempool again

I always overpay

But it doesn't matter, bitcoin does what it wants

A while ago, someone was making a metaphor for blocks being mined like waiting for a drink at the bar

Its more like waiting for your number to be rolled on a 6-sided dice

Statistically, each number should come up 1 out of every 6 rolls

But in reality you could be waiting a long ass time for your number to come up.

Just checked and my FF buy in still hasn't hit.

...

you quoted all that, didnt even resize the image.. welcome to ignore, you finally did it

We don’t like Warren buffet in these parts  Cheesy

He was correct on this one though.

Yes. Derivatives are time bombs and everyone knows that, but people working in the financial industry have to do something to justify their payouts and earn bonuses. FTX was an example of what happens when people start blindly valuing financial instruments. It’s great until everyone loses everything. Bottom line is anything that puts more hands in the pot is going to have lower returns than holding an asset directly.
