Bitcoin ETF products saw a net inflow of $1.19 billion last week.

Only $315,000,000 worth of BTC is mined per week at its current price.....
Okay wdh did that $1.19B came  from??

Like everything else; from dirty debasing currencies that eventually go to zero value unlike BTC.

The Apocalypse Of Peter
And lo, for the love of God, I sayeth to all those with ears to hear: "Who let this crazy nut-job in here?"

That would be the 3rd incarnation of Cryptotourist who has killed himself off twice, both times in late December, coming back initially as Antisthenes and secondly as IAW.   It's sad to watch someone slowly descending into madness.  I would imagine nearly everyone has him on their ignore list by now.

As Cryptotourist, we had a discussion via PMs when it was time for his avatar hat.  He seemed like a normal guy who was proud of his heritage and I ended up making his hat to reflect that.

 Anyway...

... But my account is older than yours.

Oh my bad...

Huh! A 2014 newb... now that is special. And in that case...I bow down to you sir.

I prefer lurker. I have been following this forum since 2013, and mainly this thread (90%~). I try to keep up to date. I find many people here interesting.
It's a good place to get a feel for the market, and a summary of different news outlets often gets posted here.

I also find most people interesting at first...

Got you beat.

The only downside of lurking is I didn't get a hat.

To much interest in merit and merit distribution etc and not to much time spending on BTC it self…

Why don't I have "Patrol" in my options, like you do?

Are you some kind of forum police or sth? Cheesy

And who would have thought that 'O 0' (without the space) produces this cool emoji?

You have to enable it in the Forum Profile Information settings.

Yes but that is a voluntary position and a lot of people wish I would stop doing it.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Nasty little bart down from over $50k. At least we're still above where we started yesterday.

I'm seeing quite a few articles today talking about a $50,000 Bitcoin and mentioning that it's more likely than not that Bitcoin will see $100,000 by the end of the year.  This is the sort of thing that gets the ball rolling on FOMO for the masses.  While I think the major fireworks in media will start when Bitcoin hits a new high, the $50,000 barrier is no slouch at generating headlines either.  Sure, there will be some profit taking as people who don't watch the market see the news and dump their forgotten bags, but it won't last forever.  I'm still firmly on team BULL for at least the next two months unless mtgox surprises with a distribution.

@ SamReomo I already see BTC at 71k before the ½ ing a new ATH

which I see getting broken in the Fall by over 100k. Which I see that getting topped in December 2024 over 200k
Yeah, I think BTC has some chance to reach 71k before the halving event. New ATH will form after that but it will not be at the levels that most of us are expecting. I'm not sure that Bitcoin will reach 100k by December 2024 or not but we will be very excited to see the value of Bitcoin in December 2024.
