Cmon i want my 50 coin buy order at $584 to fill. Its just $4... it would make such a big difference to meeeee.....

This is what i'm talking about. The kind of behaviour i just don't understand.
You traders are odd people.
You risk getting left behind and having to panic buy 10 maybe 30 bucks higher just because you want to save 5 dollars a coin.
Maybe it's different in this case but i'm seeing this all the time.

true that. I've come to realize: If you want to buy/sell, just do it!

Funny I've come to the exact opposite conclusion.

"If you want to buy/sell, don't do it"?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

What difference would it make if the market got away from you to $650?

Well I'd be happy because I own lots of coins. So. But, I wouldn't be leveraged so I wouldn't have any chance to grow my BTC. So.

You have a leveraged buy order at $584? Hmm... doesn't that seem risky? We could easily correct? What's your liquidation point to the downside on that one?

$440something

Its a bit risky but this uptrend I've made a fair amount trading it. Now granted I could have made more if I had just opened one big leveraged buy at the beginning, but I've only been in the market a few hours at a time usually.

More like, "If you want to buy/sell, wait then do it." Ok so maybe not exact opposite.

Is it me or are these constant small price movements on Stamp just bots going nuts? I hardly see any real trades (bigger numbers). Just crap like 0.02 buying and selling non stop. Tons of 0.09 earlier. The thing is i don't see anything that makes sense. It seems completely chaotic. Like the bot is changing it's mind every 2 minutes.

it may touch 600 ..but it will be rejected Cheesy

I thought we'd see 550 before we saw 600, but I have changed my mind. This market is resilient at the moment.

Looks like we are testing 600 tonight. I wonder how far past it we will go.

I dont think its resiliant just not many sellers (if that makes sense)

i.e a big dump would send it packing or some FRESH FUD ...

Buyers want quantity. Maybe it's the lack of asks that has made it take so long for the buyers to start. Now there is some serious volume available Smiley

Bid wall at 585 disappeared just in time for the automated chart.  Lasted almost exactly an hour.

We spent quite a long time over $650 in the previous bubble, and I think there were quite a few buyers who expected an easy 'in-out-profit' and possibly used borrowed money or money they couldn't afford to lose. As such I think there will be a lot more dumping/volatility this time on the way up.

These could be people repaying the loans and interest as well as people that couldn't stand the thought that they'd 'lost' so much money and are selling out of relief at getting it 'back' (haha!)

The sooner people accept that BTC 'is' money and a permanent store of value the sooner we stabilise at a much higher price forever (muhahaaha <- evil laugh)

I agree about last years run up.  I don't think I will ever forget that feeling either.  Constant happiness coupled with not being able to do anything without checking charts every few minutes.

i wouldn't call it happiness, not for me at least. excited is more like how i felt. if i were to use the word happiness, i would have to have a feeling of being content. i guess i didn't have enough bitcoins to make me feel content with prices at $1200.
