Which exchange? And how far down are you looking? Are you predicting 600 before 550?

Just like bitcoin was never gonna go below 570 again? I think we might make a small leg down, but I'm starting to come around to the short term bullish case. Onto 640-650 then?

I have been chatting with Bitstamp support lately, asking nicely what the procedures actually are for withdrawing money.
More specifically "other than my passport, bank details and proof of address" (which they already have) "... what extra information may I be asked to submit?"
I won't bore you with all the details, but I cannot get an answer better than this:
"Unfortunately we are unable to provide you with any specifics regarding our internal processes"
The exchange of letters, now six and counting, involves their polite "please ask us if you have any more questions we can help with" and my polite replies saying "please can you possibly answer my existing question more specifically, or even at all?"
I just wanted to know if they actually have a list of things that 'may' be needed, or a level at which any further hurdles to withdrawal kick in at.
So far, I have been unable to find out anything at all.
Off topic, so apologies - but I think it would be nice to know about this, should our speculations ever reap larger benefits which we wish to actually take out of the exchanges we are trusting.

i am no Brazilian university student, but i will take some free samples! If successful and well-funded, J.O.R.G.E. might expand its activities to students around the world I'm in for 500,000 bits, will someone create a multisig account for all donations. and come up with some rules for disseminating the snake oil to those poor Brazilian students - world students to benefit if the test run in Brazil works out. i think this will go viral on reddit lets target those Brazilian economics students first. do they have a trusted exchange to cash out at in Brazil?

What is 500,000 bits anyway? So have people stopped pushing mBTC and now they want an even smaller unit? Just stick with BTC as the unit.... it's getting ridiculous.... next is nanobit? satoshi? Maybe we should schedule a unit change every 2 years....

m BTC is logical as does every SI unit (from K BTC all the way to u BTC). Bits is ridiculous.

If it becomes necessary every two years, I will be quite happy.

Sorry Jorge I can't help myself, I just need to know why?
Because 90% of what has "bitcoin" in it IS scams or stupid ideas. Starting with attempts to convince the unwary to buy bitcoins "because they will go to the moon" or "a hedge against inflation" etc.. For example, I already mentioned a couple of days ago that student of mine who had been offered to join some GPU-based bitcoin mining enterprise. I have to check who is on the board of the Brazilian Bitcoin Foundation. I would almost bet that the creator of the BitcoinRain ponzi is there.

If that's the company I'll be in then let me just say this: Bitcoin price won't go below $560 on Stamp ever again. Bitcoin won't go below $360 again. How's that?

0.5 BTC, what idiot thought of using mBTC and why? it was always going to be bits, ever since new worlders started cutting up Spanish coins and calling them bits. Bitcoin reaches parody with the USD when 1 bit = $0.12. Until then it's just manic internet money, call it what you like, just make sure its registered on the blockchain.
