Guys, what did you expect??? It's a Friday! For a Friday in these dangerous times, we're still above $500 and going rather solid. Just forming a multiple bottom in order to safely kickstart the rocket!

I think we saw the worst for time being, so future is bright.
Just keep holding those coins and you will be sell over 550 soon.

What's with all those medium sized dumps that seem to occur every now and then over the last day or so. The price barely goes down and immediately recovers (at least somewhat) But it's just a rather huge drop. I guess they don't want to shock the market and just sell off as much as possible.

I think dumper now playing smart move, they don't want to drop the price just want to sell their coins above 500.
That is why price not going below 500 and they stop dumping when price near to 500 and it will recover after sometime.

This is starting to look a lot like mid April.. big pump followed by slow daily dumps until mid-400s are reached again.

I am betting on a low of 498.  Someone will dump to to 500.
495 would take too much work: after breaking through 1k coins to 500, they need another 1k to get to 495.
Unlikely.
The question is whether we bounce or sit around 500 until tomorrow.

Looks like a rounding top. Volume matches pretty well also. Any thoughts on this?

I guess the weekly MACD may turn green soon, though... If we manage to stay at current levels, or slightly above, we may gain momentum. On the other hand: t's a weekend... It will be somewhat difficult!

New FUD available, not sure if its bullish or bearish.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750269.msg8468766#msg8468766

Summary: Deposits to Bitstamp can now take up to 4-5 days.

Bullish conclusion: Bitstamp probably can´t handle the demand due to the millions of $ that are coming in right now, eg. Coinbase and GABI additionally to the massive amount of multiple USD transfers from private investors who consider the current price as dirt cheap.  Grin

What happened to the bitcoins at mtgox? Did anybody get anything back?

Is there a thread somewhere on the site people are discussing it?

Ben Lawsky: New York Can’t Risk Getting Bitcoin Regulation Wrong

http://www.coindesk.com/ben-lawsky-bitcoin-regulation/

“I think the most surprising thing has been that certain provisions in the regulation that I think when we drafted it initially that we thought would be pretty clear in terms of the breadth, were read by some much more broadly than we intended.”

(edit: the photographer that took that photo..... really.. not good, I could do much better, really it is quite bad, the guy has totally screwed his focalpoint/depth of field which in this photo is all that he/she needed to get right, it is as soft as a warm marshmallow)
