Nazis.
Oh teh edge...

Now explain to me how free_market allowed the violence_market to come about?  Why did our problem-solving free_market ubermensch allow such a travesty to happen?
Is it what you call "best and most efficient"?
Or... Was it a cruel whim of our Mighty Reptilian Overlords?
Finally, does your free market exist today?  Did it ever exist?  Or is it just talk?

It is technology. Different technologies determined the rhythms of the human system during our history. Perhaps the centralization of violence providers come out of metallurgy. Perhaps the top-down power structure come out as a result of information being disparately available to the system participants.

In the past these structures, we may argue, were the most efficient. But at any moment in time the 'old' do its best to stick around while the 'new' do its best to replace it.

In our times, the 'old' is top-down command and control. The 'new' is planet-wide emergent self-organization.

What I describe as the 'free market world' is maybe centuries ahead, and surely has not existed in the past (except maybe in very small communities). But i'm sure that if/when it manifest, there will be no coming back and the epoch before it will be considered a mere precondition to it.

*Perhaps then we will be able to overthrow our Reptilian Overlords Smiley

How do you know this? Did you use the scientific method to deduce this fact?

I suggest: 'Is support at 442$ going to hold?'. And I'd vote no. Grin

Once I dead a google on "truth" and ended up at wikipedia.
I came to the conclusion that there is no absolute truth. There are 20 different flavours of truth lies and only one truth.

Pretty depressing isn't it.

there can only ever be one truth.

No, we both can have different truths.
We live too short to check whether you or I was right.
Read the wikipedia, you'll get depressed, I promise  Wink

This doesn't look good definitely. Strong start of the rally, blocked very soon, then the weakest attempt to do it again, slight drop and not even try to do it again. There's just no confidence and money to push this left anymore, people got owned several times in last 3 months and everyone is scared.

Edit1: Lol@10% slippage for a 100BTC order
Edit2: Since when does Bitstamp offer stop-loss and why should it help to reduce slippage?Huh

Pretty interesting article beside those mistakes, if anything of what the interviewed persons say is true at least.  Cheesy

Yes, maybe true, but I think sellers are exhausted also.  Also the longer this bottom is in, the more confidence will build that the only way is up.

we had some news that EUR is going to be inflating, and the run up it caused in BTC has been Completely negated ASAP (24hours)

this is really shitty. who's this bear and why doesn't he seem to care about the price he gets.

There's no volume on either side, yes. But you'd think the mini rally from yesterday, specially as it started very strong would cause some bounce after 15$ retrace.

Nothing was negated tbh, there was no huge dump or even big one. People backed off as soon as few hundred coins were sold. People are just scared as they got owned several times in last few weeks.

The only way this could rise is if some big boys decide to screw shorters.

we need a new poll we 500 just isnt going to happen in ~32 hours left, simply impossible.

So end of the week is saturday, then?

A similar poll may be as good as any.. because the question seems to remain when, if ever, prices are going to return and/or remain above $500.

May I suggest that you have a multiple choice poll that goes something like this:

When and how will BTC prices go above $500?

a) prices will go above $500 by no later than next week and remain above $500 forever - in other words, buy, buy, buy, this is the cheapest BTC is ever gonna get, ever

b) prices will go above $500 by no later than next week and will mostly remain above $500 for the next 6 months

c) prices will go above $500 in the next two weeks to one month and remain above $500 forever

d) prices will go above $500 in the next two weeks to one month and will mostly remain above $500 for the next 6 months

e) prices will go above $500 in the next two to six months and remain above $500 forever

f) prices will go above $500 in the next two to six months and will mostly remain above $500 for the next 12 months

g) prices will go above $500 in the next two to six months but the price trajectory is down for the next 12 months and likely beyond that

h) prices will never return to above $500 - in other words, sell, sell, sell because this is the best you are gonna get, ever
