I got screwed by the Bitcoin Swiss issue. Waiting to invest Fiat though them and never hearing from them after my application was sent 1 week ago, not even to tell me they would not accept me, I didn't buy cheap ETH in time. Bad bad managment. One hour to go now, right?

+1

What a bunch of unprofessional morons. How much would it cost to just say "sorry, but you're out"?

Exactly. Big economical damage for everyone who believed in those morons. Now with the same money we can get only a fraction of Bancors.

If you were smart and bought your eth under $250 for this ico then they have no advantage.

You totally miss my point. I wanted to invest Fiat and for this reason only I wanted to use Bitcoin Suisse as it was the most practical way. And since they have been introduced as a reliable party I had no reason su suspect they would not reply to my application AT ALL. And day after day ETH's price has risen while I was waiting for their answer any moment. Luckily I have a few ETHs which I bought cheaper, so I won't totally miss the ICO, but if I still want to invest the fiat I wanted to invest now I'd be totally screwed.

You had no way to use your fiat to buy eth while bitcion suisse was going? if you did, which I don't see why you couldn't, don't blame them for your fckup.

Over 50k ETH in 1 hour? That's roughly 20 million dollars. Let's see. Smiley
In Turkish forum some people say Bancor will get 400k ETH investment, lol. That's 160 million dollars. Pretty exciting to watch. Cheesy

Your logic is really bizarre. Those who bought when it was $250 missed the rally to $400. It makes no difference what eth price is when you buy bnc, it only makes a difference how much you paid in fiat for the ether you are using to buy bnc.

The hidden cap is not known yet, right? Where is the hidden cap stored? It has to be in the smart contract, right? Couldn't we read the source code of the contract then?

no..i think how it works is that bancor team needs to send a special TX to the contract, and then it'll be revealed..

at least that's what happened for aragon.

Ah, got it. But than they can decide how big the hidden cap is after seeing how much they've already got. Or did they sign a message before that contains the cap?
