Looking at the posts that you can read here lately it seems most of the people don't even bother to read the Bancor's OP or the whitepaper... their knowledge of the Bancor protocol is close to zero. So many people are just treating cryptos like apples or oranges that they can buy and sell at the market without even having to know the dufference between an apple and an orange.
That's right, they just sell and buy, they do not understand what the actual contents of the bancor, because they are only looking for a bronze in every trade. Then it's our duty to start that conversation and make it a more intelligent discussion than what the noobs are going about. Let's start with the absolute basics then - what's the utility of BNT as a token considering ETH is better suited to be a reserve currency in the formula, and most relays would want to be listed against ETH instead of BNT anyway? And perhaps going forward we can keep the discussion serious. |

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Why is the WebApp relay token changer down (some more detail than documentation pls? Is that the only interface to it?

Will we be having a Bancor Mobile Web3 wallet soon? It's always a pain to boot up my PC anytime I want to convert some tokens. Mobile functionality should be added so we can convert tokens available on the network while on the go.
Hi there, the Bancor wallet (currently in development) is mobile friendly, the team has been working hard on this and once completed we will announce in the thread. That's good news. Since most of the currencies have no real life use, mobile wallets are generally just something fancy to show to the friends. But in bancor's case that's different, since the wallet HAS a real world use, it allows to buy and sell more and more tokens. I think it will help adoption in a sensible way. |

can we expect bancor to launch its native eos smartcontracts/app ASAP after eos mainet is live? or its the idea to build that over the course of the year later........
I don't think they will launch cross chain transaction facility at the moment but in future we will see this kind features on that platform. But I think soon we will get update on this mainnet swap. Are they planning to build their own cross chain transaction technology or do they plan to integrate with another protocol that offers that functionality? Bancor's cross-blockchain compatibility will integrate other smart contract blockchains. That's cool stuff and has it already been determined when that functionality will be available for the public? |

Great update. I'm super excited whenever I see continuous updates from the bancor team. Just that the market is pretty down now else the price would have gone kaboom with such news. I do hope the bancor wallet comes with mobile functionality. That's one of the shortcomings of the web3 wallet. It was only accessible through a desktop chrome browser. I hope it's different now. Great jobs guys. Keep it up! |
