The exchange team explains that, “After careful consideration, we factored these criteria, while not exhaustive, as determinants of discontinuation. Limited trading volume on the exchange, which could potentially lead to trading malpractice (e.g. pump and dump). Poor community reception. Unestablished cooperation with the token team.”


Can anyone explain a bit more why this happened with Iconomi?

I have no ideas. I am asking here. They deletisted it. I posted sentence where they described reasons to delist all 6 coins. But probably each coin have different reason. I do not see a word "scam" is mentioned.  

So anyone knows?

ICN's initial marketing and whitepaper put it squarely in the security category in the US and likely most of the world. They changed bits and pieces, but the strongest case is that the returns to investors are dependent on the efforts of the management team, which still remains true. Exchanges are a bit hesitant to add tokens that look like securities due to regulatory pressures and because they don't have the necessary licenses to operate such exchanges for securities. Don't think this has anything to do with 'scam' though.

Yes a security. It is seen how serious exchange Cobinhood is. Poloniex or Bittrex knew exactly what ICONOMI is and never even think to add it.

Well, this year we will see some SEC compliant security tokens joining the crypto world, so maybe ICONOMI made a mistake trying to change ICN to utility instead of sick with initial plan (dividends) and make it legal. Now they are struggling to keep their token relevant and we all see how it goes...

As long as the exchange is registered in USA or works with US residents. If it doesn't nobody cares.

Great step towards more legitimacy for the Iconomi funds. This paired with fiat gateways will be huge indeed, finally an easy opening for crypto outsiders to invest without too much hassle.

Iconomi moved quite slow but the timing is perfect. Market is down and investors know this is the time to be greedy and buy as much as you can on the way down.
The fiat gateway with the Nina fund on the stock market make the nicest pair in financial crypto products till now. Still amazed that they managed to get listed and happy to see they managed to comply and get the licence. This is a huge win for crypto in general

Next thing that i'm interested is if the future debit card will generate fees for the icn burn.
Mass adoption does not mean necessarily convincing your beloved vendors to accept crypto. They could as well accept a debit card that converts crypto and adoption problem is solved.

You are very confident that the price increase will happen in the near future, indeed if you want to buy a coin now is the right time but you must learn first do not just rely on lust before you get stuck.

pinta went 4000 eth on 2 icos.
that's why i know price it's gonna bump. Plus everything happening now and in the near future for icn.
That's money taken from uninvested assets and moved to pinta assets.
When pinta performs there's a 20% performance fee and icn get's burned.
considering the big numbers they are pretty serious ico's and columbus really did a nice job with blx and pinta so far.
I guess 4000 eth can buy a lot of ico's on this bloody market.

Iconomi was one of the first ETH tokens I had, I holded the ICN for a few months, but suddenly, things didn't happen as expected, in July last year, there was a strong appreciation, then prices were corrected, but in September Iconomi will complete his second year, usually this means that the project begins to deliver the promised, the strong valuation in the last few hours mean this?

The price jumped to catch it's book value (total sum of Pinta investments)  and still did not make it (until the moment of writing)
 
$108,468,950 Book value (Pinta) in compassion with  96,707,512 Market Value and this is without the parity funds taken in consideration. Yes we are still 11 mil under the book value.

Manage to increase my position about 30% since last night. I see it as a safe bet at least until ICN hit's it's book value then, i will consider dropping some but not all icn from the bag

Anyway that 18% - 35% increase will point some attention to the token for sure of this bloody market.

Yes Nina will be on iconomi platform from my understanding. I also have questions about the content of Nina, i was expecting the same pattern as BLX maybe even BLX itself with the Nina coat on top of it.

Fresh news from Columbus Capital. So both Nina and Blockchain One stock exchange funds will have fees payed to ICONOMI.
Columbus will be also more active on ICO's and in case of Nina even pre ICO's

A great project to follow the team around in his professional also I am sure this project will go smoothly and it will be a lot of participants who enliven this project to the fore; success always projects.

This is long term project and it is still moving forward but there is delay that is reason why people are into doubt. But who have strong believe will make huge profit when it will start rising and this is good time to accumulate.
