That's the same thing I was doing but with the klondikes . I made each water block two piece and symmetrical. They are CNC routed the block can be screwed or tig welded together. I sent it out for a quote yesterday. I based the internal design off some GPU water blocks I had laying around.

Im not sure datacentres will be happy when you announce 19" racks that are watercooled. I guess they will fear a leak and damage to the hardware of their colocation racks. But i might be wrong.

I don't think punin will give the master board schematics after reading from here: http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/product/bitfury-55nm-asic-h-board/  "16 chip Hashing Board to be used with the Master board (or separately if you’re a real hacker)"

Are you a real hacker burnin? Will you offer mining board service with Bitfury's chips? If yes how are you going to get the schematics of the boards?

Isn't this whole thread proof enough when it comes to my abilities to develop and build products that actually work?
I don't need schematics to create a bitfury mining board.
All the infos needed to adapt the bitburner to bitfury's chips were already released.
(Pinout and protocol)
Once the Avalon stuff is all done i'll do a Board with those chips.


Overall status:
Wrapping up the last few changes to get these boards mass produced.

cgminer screenshot for a long run at 320Mhz - 6.4Ghash/s, about 0.12% HW errors.
The reported temperature is the actual board temperature, chip surface measured ~50°C.

Great update! Yes the thread is a proof of your abilities to develop and build, but i'm not that technical and i don't know what is needed and what is not. That's very great news that you can make that board.

I'm hoping that the next update will be with the website. (if possible please post prices upfront)

Burnin - you have proven yourself above and beyond! I can’t speak for anyone else, but from my POV, you’ve not only mastered the development and then some! I personally appreciate the fact that your design doesn’t compromise minimal component parts to achieve the end goal.

Burnin, just a question on ordering.

for example: if the chips-order Batch1-5 from sebastianju arrive at the same time... do you work down first batch1, then batch2, ... or do you work down on order date on your page?

Fantastic result burnin, congratulations! I guess this journey is nearly over for you now. I imagine it's going to be a pretty great feeling to see the first few hundred boards coming off the production line .
