Is there any concrete ETA / news regarding the Bitburner refunds, beside 'mid of October'?
Has burnin already stated if he's willing to refund more than 50%?

See https://www.asic-hardware.com/faq/

Quote
After you have logged in, you are presented with 3 choices:

50% Refund of your entire order by mid-October
Recover 70% of your boards + 100% of your shipping costs and accessories as a discount coupon on a Bitburner Fury board order*
    Keep your original order

Cheers,
QG

Thanks QG, but this is the 'mid of October' info i was refering to...
I thought there might be a more concrete date like 'you will get you money back at 15th October' or s.th. like that.

I am trying to ask for a watercooled version instead of the air cooled version I ordered by error. No answers - and I am trying for months now.  Embarrassed

May I ask the question, please? Wink

Any updates?

ALL, burnin said he does not have the time to read the forum no more. From my experience your chances are best if you email him. It worked for me (well, one out of two parts). If you are really desperate I guess you could call, it is a registered company after all, surely there must be a phone number somewhere in google.

Zefir batch 2 was confirmed shipping a while back. Go back a few pages. Do not rely on burninmining.com or asic-hardware.com statuses. I have one order delivered - it still shows as "processing" on both sites.

I'm sure its been more than 2 weeks since burnin last posted and saying he needs 1 - 2 weeks lead time on the machine for sebs group buy. I'm getting quite annoyed at the fact we are not hearing anything or seeing any progress.

I understand bitburners are pretty much paperweights but even still I would like my product, I also understand he is a busy man and had lost money but does that mean he has to shit on his customers that stuck with it. (sorry needed to vent my frustration, people had enough problems with BFL we don't need any more of that shit.)

I think Ill just give in to the fact that burnin Is trying to make his money back (that being he is mining on our hardware or he just has not got the cash to build them) and that I wont see my product. If it turns up then its all good but I don't have very high hopes.

I don't think he is mining with them and I still believe he will deliver.

But his treatment of initial customers like me who trusted him to deliver in time ASAP (no communication, no estimated shipping date, priorizing delivering of bitfury devices) is Yifu crap at it's best.

I'm pretty sure burnin can explain himself and we will understand, but I can not believe that there would not have been another way to go. As I said before, I paid for the chips, I paid for the board, and I did not refund. I would have helped him out with paying again on top in order to ensure everything is fine and burnin can pay his dues while I get my boards in time.

But there is no burnin here to discuss this. He is gone like Yifu, working on doing it better next time, perhaps.

For me burnin is burned as a person not to trade with.

I'm in exactly the same situation as you, and I'm likewise disappointed.

Although I would say the accusations here (that burnin is mining with customer equipment - with no evidence cited, almost certainly because the poster is making it up) is pretty much par for the course here.  And after putting up with these forums for months, I can quite understand why he just can't take it any more.

Would still really appreciate a bit more communication.... both on the Avalon and Bitfury boards.  Burnin, I've stood buy you, I've defended you.  I still think you mean well, but it's hard to continue to believe in you when things don't go according to plan and you fail to give any update....

I have an order for boards made from Zefir's batch 2.
I emailed burninmining@gmail.com on 2013-09-27 asking for the status of my order and received a reply on 2013-10-06 from 'Martin' saying:
"Your order is on its way to you.
should arrive on wednesday."

No tracking number or update in my order status (still says 'processing') - but at least I got some communication.

By the way does anyone know the number of customers burnin had? If everyone donated as little as 0.5 BTC i'm sure he could make up a pretty good amount of his loss and even if i dislike the fact that he is so silent i think us the customers can do this little gesture to help him even if things didn't work out as planned.

Status?

SebastianJu's chips are all through SMD assembly and boards are being completed at the moment.
I have received about 200 of the ~ 500 boards and a lot of packets are about to be send out.
Zefirs chips will enter SMD assembly this week.

My contractor did not work Tursday and Friday due to public holiday in germany "Tag der Deutschen Einheit".
That delayed manufacturing a little.

The Bitfury SMD assembly took place after Sebastians chips were done and the assembly and testing was done by cryptx.

In general i will be more responsive again as i have more time after finishing most of the Bitfury work.

Glad to hear you're still not out of energy, hopefully you got some rest during the holidays as well Smiley

When can we expect to receive updates about alternative ways to purchase Bitburner Fury boards?
Next week or is it going to be announced beforehand?

Guess what buddy, it's not only your chips.
There are plenty of people waiting for their remaining boards to be shipped, including me.
You are free to take your business elsewhere if you are not satisfied with the service provided.

Sincerely,
Go cry somewhere else.

Thanks for the update burnin.
I hope you understand that after the whole story of delays caused by Yifu it is crucial for your customers to be updated.
