Wallet is fully synced - I am getting an error:

Is anyone able to remove this error from the wallet? Also if anyone would like permissions for the github account please pm me for an invitation.

Lol that message has been there 1 week after launch of the coin, it is the checkpoint server message, it was fixed many times but keeps getting outdated.

BTW if this coin wants to go somewhere then something has to be done about the total coins in existance, maybe a hybrid positive/negative staking system is required to combat the crazy inflation this coin has, but then again what is the purpose since SPROUTS was Cryptsy pumped ? Lol

Sprouts is trading a 0.00000004 litoshis(SPRTS/LTC), so no one will ever pay 0.00000001 (SPRTS/BTC), satoshis for it so the market will never be used hence why it was closed.

If SPRTS want a BTC market it needs to raise its price to over 0.00000005 (SPRTS/BTC) satoshis for at least a month, then we can read a SPRTS/BTC pair

Lol that would be so wrong as their market caps would be in the Billions of Dollars if that was the case, I would assume that those prices are in LTC, DOGE or another low pairing alt.

Guys sprouts is dead. Look at the buy there isn't even a buy on the exchange for btc only sell. Now does that sound good to you ? You just will sit with hordes of useless coon that everyone has and noone wants because its so common. 808 coin is the new sprouts, same Dev eggman behind it and pos rate is the same but works differently.

So far all of our efforts have been positive, here is where we are:

- working, really nice wallet (except for the warning message at the bottom - need to fix)
- easy to access coin details for people to review
- a plan and initial connection with exchanges to let them know what is going on
- coingecko has been contacted with new information
- coinmarketcap has updated our information and followed sprtsjr on twitter
- all exchanges have been added to twitter
- facebook has been created and ready for updates
- reddit user created - pending 30 days of positive mojo on reddit we should be able to create a sublet
- twitter is in full effect
- block explorer has been contacted - I asked if there was a way we could pay monthly and have a donations address at the bottom.
(its .1 per year - this should be easy for the community to come together and handle)


Next steps....
- Ensure the block explorer is running
- initiate blogging / social campaigns
- Run a tipping campaign on Cryptopia to reintroduce Sprouts
- Collect a bounty for a developer to assist in upgrading core code and security on the wallet (annual cleanup)
- Submit a Poll to the community on wallet upgrade musts (narrow down based on amount collected)
- Create a nice little bounty and recruit a fellow developer to implement changes
- Once the wallet is upgraded (while the wallet is upgrading)
- create a market plan / budget - start collecting / recruiting new talents to assist with implementation

That checkpoint message has been there since Mr Eggman released the wallet but he abandoned Sprouts and went on to develop 808 coin. But other than that the wallet works perfect! Also as far as a blog,there used to be one but I think that went down about the same time as it got delisted at blockexperts. There also was a Crypto Sprout faucet which may be able to be
started again if we pay for it. We tried getting someone to fix the POS percentage but I think they wanted .50-1 btc to do it, and the community could not decide what the new POS should be and I think nobody wanted to kick in any btc (Its somewhere back in other thread)Also I think that needs to be adjusted one way or another because there are way too many coins!

A certain amount of coins need to be continually generated throughout the life of the coin simply to replace the coins lost over time due too... whatever.

NEM = 8,999,999,999 coins
Dogecoin = 108,288,487,829 coins
Stellar Lumens = 6,987,295,521 coins
Bytecoin = 182,507,563,335 coins
Siacoin = 23,594,379,405 coins
Mintcoin = 24,118,986,003  coins

All coins have a larger supply than Sprouts and are sitting in top 100.

In our first week we went from position 512 to 412 on Coin market cap and are already the top 5 Doge trades on Cryptopia.

Hey there - thanks for asking!

Right now we are working with several exchanges to bring Sprouts back into mainstream trading. Immediate goal is to resurface in the top 100 for Coin Market Cap.
We plan on doing this through a series of marketing strategies to promote visibility of Sprouts. Once we have a strong community again we will begin the process of determining next steps for wallet upgrades to ensure we are using the latest code. From there we will begin the process of connecting with other businesses for Sprouts integration wherever it makes mutual sense.

Working on putting together a game narrative which will be taken to a developer for full integration with the wallet. Really excited to officially release the details. The game will actually serve as coin inflation control as well as standard crypto wallet features. Once I have the general narrative ready I will share with the community for feedback. Upon feedback and finalization chapter one of the game will be developed and released for bug control.

Coin Market Cap has coin supply as 4.4 Billion when it is closer to 56.3 Billion (as of March 1st 2017). Are they getting this number from the old block explorer? Can you get them to update their block explorer link to the new block explorer chainz.cryptoid.info/sprts/?

(Total supply of Sprouts) x (BTC/SPRTS) x ($/BTC)

(56,000,000,000 sprouts) x (0.00000001 BTC/SPRTS) x ($1200/BTC) = $672,000. That would put it at 123 on coinmarketcap.com.

Today, Sprouts are traded mostly in Doge so the calculation gets a little more complicated.

(56,000,000,000 sprouts) x (0.0015 DOGE/SPRTS) x (0.00000016 BTC/DOGE) x ($1200/BTC) = $16,128. Which puts it at 347 on coinmarketcap.com.

Right now, coinmarketcap.com is basing the market cap on a supply of 4.4 billion instead of 56 billion, once that is corrected, Sprouts will move up to the mid 300s on the list.

I've been keeping tabs on Sprouts for 6 months or more and I'm excited to see some movement in the community/project. AND excited to see some trading on Cryptopia.

I think chainz is the better explorer for staking coins - good choice!
