Hi i have a few questions:
Where can we find more info on blocktimes. It looks like its generating alot more blocks now
And some info about coin maturity.
Also i noticed after a stake the coins are split into 2 equal parts on a single new address.Does this mean they can stake separately cuz the blockexplorer shows them as one part.

edit: coins seems to mature after 300 confirmations.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Why you think, you're doing something wrong?
You're not doing anything wrong.
Just your expected time to find block is quite high, for about a half of day,
because of your low amount in wallet, if you want to find block more quickly, get more tokens.

Why they removed this coin from zpool? is it still minable? why there is no any normal pool? the AikaPool.com Suprnova.cc are overloaded and not responsive. so this coin is discontinued?

Overloaded ?! Nothing is overloaded... The opposite maybe Smiley

POW for this coin has ended - you cannot mine it anymore (and thats what I've wrote on the pool as well)

Yes, OC, unlike Zpool and akia posted that PoW was over on his pool.
those others dont say shit they just waste your hash (or zpool im sure redirects it for their own means till people manually switch)

Price up, supply running thin, buy now or cry later! ;p

*for those staking wondering about rewards.     You will need like 2500 Netko+ to stake once a day at current net weight.
Keep in mind net staking weight also historically goes UP over time, so you need to get as many as you want ASAP, it will only get harder as time go on, inflation just took a MASSIVE decline on this coin. Cheesy

I have clean installation, I'm trying to compile with these steps:
https://github.com/netkotech/netko/blob/master/doc/readme-qt.rst

Can you help me, sort out this thing?
cheers

e: tried with gcc 4.8.4 and 4.9.4

Did you manage to solve this? I have no problems on 16.04 or 14.04

1. git clone https://github.com/netkotech/netko.git
2. cd netko
3. qmake
4. make

do i need to be root to do this?

@kiss

it's all relative to when each WHOLE (1) coin (or piles of coins as it's technically by TX) matured in your wallet.

Each individual coin needs 301 confirms to become eligible to stake, and AFTER a stake, that resets, but ONLY on the coins that staked.
The REST of your coins CONTINUE to stake (and you will notice you have a lower "weight")
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake  -- that prob explains better than i can ;p ;p

Cheesy

Note* each coin is different parameters usually for PoS, so that links just a breakdown on how PoS works GENERALLY Smiley

I prefer splitting tokens into multiple addresses.Weight lowers but chances to find a block slightly increases.I dont like all coins locked up for 301 confirms. So far i got one stake/day with only 978 tokens.
I guess its about finding a good balance compared to the network weight. To soon to put a number on it but 2500 seems like a overkill to me.
Yesterday i had a address with 149 tokens that staked within a few hours after maturing but the network is gaining weight.
Now awaiting the next stake
Good luck all
