Hello Ocminer, yesterday I could't access the Suprnova web interface and the day before was very slow. sporadically I was able to connect but surfing between pages was almost impossible. any ways my account is locked now - so please help. my info: username: nobink
also i have been mining 3 or 4 years and I have a few questions: 1. when mining zcash on flypool difficulty level is set on 8000H , can you do the same? this will prevent the hashrate to variate.
2. this is a bit complicated. for sure you know who are all those anonymous miners moving 500000kH between pools as soon as the difficulty jump they disconnect and move to other coin, and this is so unfair for the loyal miners who support the crypto world and are trying to get ROI . Yes I know you will tell me, they are pay for the shares submitted. but please understand that my Round payment is going down, example from .1 par block found to .05 - when 500000kh are trown into the pool in the middle of mining 10 min long block. my suggestion is - can you ban any one with over 200000kH for 24h if they switch coin, from rejoining the pool again. this way little miners like me we could get ROI vs someone who rents rigs.
You see in altcoins no one respects miners vs bitcoin, where miners like antpool f2 or cex have there saying about future of the coin. but In the same time everyone need us, coin developers, pool operators, mining software writers. and if we don't make a decent ROI then the all crypto is going down the tubes.

Part of the answer is that the last block (114451) took over an hour to solve.
I have been noticing that as soon as the difficulty gets around 145000 or higher it gets very difficult to solve a block and it seems out of proportion to what I would expect. It also takes long time for the difficulty to adjust down. I assume because the time between blocks is too long. No one is going to make any money if the coin can't be mined.
Can the devs investigate this?
EDIT: the net hash rate dropped to 5.88 once the block was found. So much for conspiracy theories....
I wondered about this also. I had some conversations at Consensus before the Zen launch announcement party that were enlightening. There were some investors who wanted to get Zclassic before the split. They were working to buy large amounts of Zclassic but couldn't without driving the price up too high on Bittrex. They could not find any private party willing to sell. So they hired some miners to get them as much as they could get. Something similar might be happening now. There was no Zen ICO, no pre-allocation of large amounts of cryptocurrency like Ethereum, no 20% carve-out of mining that gets paid directly to the venture capital investors in the project like in Zcash. The only way to get Zen is to mine it. The 79% of hash rate that can't be found is, in my best guess, hired hashrate from different investors who want to be able to get into a new cryptocurrency and are doing it the only way they can right now, which is mining it. They run their private pools or proxy servers for solo mining, and don't worry about attracting retail level miners, because they don't need to. Those GPU's that are sold out? Probably going to the big private mining farms that have been buying in large quantity for years. Good, longtime, consistent customers with lots of future purchasing ability always get the best allocations of restricted product. How does that affect retail level miners? It's good! Where there is broadbased demand, that's good news for a cryptocurrency. And I really admire people like @ocminer who are willing to build and expand mining pools for all sorts of cryptocurrencies. I would not be able to deal with the amount of crap he gets on a daily basis from people who use his pools for mining and making money, and complain and accuse him of not being fair.

Is there a schedule when stable wallets will be released for the three major operating systems? Especially, I am interested in Mac and Linux wallet because I do not use Windows at all. I want to finally transfer my coins from the exchange.

Zen is being deeply down and it decreased nearly a half of price compared with this price at the starting on the exchange. I think this coin will continue to go down at 0.002xxbtc and then I will spend some money for buying this coin.

BEWARE OF the website Zenmine.pro !!!!!! it IS infected with Malware... My Bitdefender has been blocking it for these last few days and it been getting annoying that I couldn't access it... So I decided to just allow it through today...
Well guess what... A few minutes later My PC crashed with an Error "Critical Structure Corruption"... That means my system files where being altered and that it was caught in the act by windows security...
I think all of you should know this! So Be warned. I would stay away from there

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-gpu-cryptocurrency-ethereum-mining/Looks like mining will be getting Alot more difficult in the near future... It will give us more solidarity, but I get the feeling this is gonna turn into another bitcoin hardware craze where evrything is overprice by 1000%. This might suck alot.

You think the price will fall another 50% and go through 75 BTC of buy support? Maybe down to 400k but I doubt it..

Hi, I think that the reason for infection of your computer is not my site, since I checked it today and found no signs of infection.

Indeed, I was very hopeful at first, however, now imo the price will continue to fall especially now as there seem to be issues within the core team. Movrcx, who is the only programmer on the ZEN team, has left to return to ZCL I understand This does not bode well for the price.

This might concern all of the investors of ZEN. I don't consider this FUD, this is some truth people must know. I hate FUD. This is all verifiable on the ZEN slack, movcrx is coming back to ZCL though so at least there is some good in this mess. And on Twitter...

Hi, I think that the reason for infection of your computer is not my site, since I checked it today and found no signs of infection. I think he already had a virus before going to the site or is just trolling to get more people to his mining pool, the site is fine for me.

My only regret is trying to hold out for top dollar, could have gotten more than 0.006 but it's still much better than the current 0.004, this is a valuable lesson in the case i end up in a similar situation again(lost 50$ due to setting my sell-order too high).
To be honest i am not confortable with zcl either after this mess, well we will see how this ends.

That's nonsense ... pardon my french. Users should stop alarming others when they don't really understand what's going on. There is nothing that can infect you on that site, it doesn't install any browser addons, and doesn't offer anything to download. It has a bunch of Javascript (good for live updates!), which apparently your antivirus is bothered by ... bitdefender has a history of false positives. It sounds like you just have buggy software or were infected from somewhere else if it's also crashing. zenmine.pro has been stable during the past 20h for me, unlike suprnova. @belmix, thanks for the pool. Could you please update the blockchain info URLs from classic.zcha.in to node1.zenchain.info:8886? (not sure why you're using the former for zen). It's annoying to do it manually every time I want to check out a block or transaction info.
