How to mine Solaris Pick a pool from the first page of this thread and download ccminer 2.2 (for starters); you will need a Nvidia GPU. Depending on the pool you choose the steps may be different, but most pools have a "Getting Started" section with specific instructions for the coin you're mining.

Looks like Solaris is now starting to get up to a price where I believe it should be. It still needs some more volume daily but the price has been rising steady now and I hope we can break the $0.50 and stay there as that's where I believe this coin should be. Low supply and low marketcap which gives Solaris a lot of room to move.
it is very good that prices are rising, and the guys did a great job and walls to put on the purchase. If you guys try to manipulate the price without reason , pushing up and up , not leaving people to buy and to get in...then you can keep the coin, we dont want it .... I found this coin 5 days ago , and someone try to manipulate the price..dont let me buy at the market price.... No way on earth i would buy a manipulated price......all the transactions are 2 coins, 3 coins....pusshing price without reason ..... if you do that , than you can keep the coin, i have other 10000000 coins to invest in... I'm not the one pushing up the price my friend, I just believe that the price should be around 0.50 USD, look at other similar coins like DNR with the same total supply and marketcap, that coin is over 0.70 USD and even was trading over $1. I myself have been pushed out when I tried to buy but this can happen in crypto. The marketcap is still very low so there is a lot of room for it to grow. People who believe in what the dev is doing will buy the coin even at the current price like I just did, I was only able to buy another 20 coins but I want to accumulate as many Solaris as I can for the future.

Hey guys I have a 1080 TI (windows 10) rig i'm trying to put on Solaris to see if it will beat SIGT
But I'm not sure what the most efficient miner is for my system.
Would it be CG miner? Or is there something else that's getting the best hash rate with my cards?

Very good coin indeed. I feel it is undervalued atm. Is there any Slack for XLR?

Search for palgin's Nist 5 miner, a variation of ccminer. It does pretty well. Alexis 78's ccminer version is the best, but you have to compile it from github in order to use it. Regular ccminer 2.2 works also but it's not as fast as either of the other two. I don't think it's currently more profitable then SIGT, but it's definitely a profitable coin to mine nonetheless.

Hi, dev. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged about current prices. Things will fall into place once the BTC megabull is contained. The important thing is to stay with the plan in times like these.

Which pool has the most people? I want to avoid mining to that one due to a potential 51% attack.

This is great news, I'm glad to hear you'll be working on a few more faucets for Solaris. Like I have posted in a number of threads on this forum, faucets are a great way to bring in new people to the coin. It gets them started and if they like what they see they normally invest some into the coin. Be sure to post the links to your faucets so I can also promote them on Twitter for you.

As long as the dev and community keep pushing out development and updates the wallets from time to time the price should go up due to natural growth. Price manipulation is just a part of the game and always has been; we shouldn't look at is as a bad thing it means that someone/s has taken a keen interest in XLR and for the most part will ensure the price will not fall below where he/she wants it to go. Plus it keeps the volume on the exchange reasonable so the coin doesn't get delisted and has potential to be picked up at other exchanges. As someone said above patience is the key to making long term gains with XLR, we are the early birds I'm pretty sure our patience will be rewarded.

This coin is very interesting, is it true that there will be master nodes in September? A friend told me but I was not able to find any information.

@SwedishGirrl thanks for your interest. We should get the answer about possibilities for implementation of masternodes to our coin after 20 August. That's all what I can tell you at this moment.
