so my xlr are on coinexchange, do i still have to do the swap?
We got a message from CoinExchange regarding a swap :

Quote
I have had very little time lately . We are upgrading the system at the moment. So unfortunately cannot commit to doing the swap at least for the next week.

Then we asked him if its ok to contact him after next week and he agreed.

In the meantime, I sent a query to Novaexchange  with request to add Solaris with Xevan algorithm to their  voting list .

You have time to swap until 06 December.  You can trade for now only old Solaris with Nist5 algorithm. Your choice.

Thanks for your support!

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUBSTITUTE EVERYTHING HERE FOR MASTERNODES AS WELL AS THE COLD MASTERNODE GUIDE WHICH WILL REQUIRE A VPS TO RUN, HOT-NODING WORKS BUT IS NOT VERY SAFE!!!

http://www.explorerz.top/vivo-mn.html

JUST SUBSTITUTE EVERYTHING VIVO FOR SOLARIS , HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS OTHERS!!

send more than 1000 to another wallet and then exactly 1000 back to the wallet you want to use, and start again with the setup

use this , substitute everything Vivo for Solaris:

Question.

Why's seemingly the miners getting 2XLR instead of 1.6?

Is it related to all the entries in the log like this:

2017-10-09 00:29:09 CMasternodePayments::IsTransactionValid - Missing required payment of 0.40 to SXYwUbQi7LiNjDr8xxxxpmqA7WSsAT4aNx
2017-10-09 00:29:09 Invalid mn payment detected CTransaction(hash=9b346xxxb6, ver=1, vin.size=1, vout.size=1, nLockTime=0)

    CTxOut(nValue=2.00000000, scriptPubKey=OP_DUP OP_HASH160 f6f7dxxxf3f3)

Very exciting project.  I'm about to buy enough for a masternode, but I'm uncertain whether it's safe to take it off Coinexchange and place it onto the Raspberry wallet for MN/PoS or wait until the kinks are ironed out.

Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

Which kinks are you referring to?

I am personally running a masternode and i have recieved 4 payouts so far.

you cannot run masternodes with coins from coinexchange currently.
You need the coins of the new XEVAN chain.
So you have to buy from coinexchange and swap them for the new coins before you can run a masternode Smiley

To run masternode you must be on the new xevan chain.

Coins from old chain will need swap

THis is incomplete

The External and internal IPs and external and internal ports on both of the Conf files are not clear!

Sir, what do you mean by they are not clear?
Are they illegible to you?

Also, where in the guide did you see internal IP and internal Port?
It seems you didn't follow the guide thoroughly because you are mentioning things that are not in it.
Please start again and this time, follow the guide more carefully. Even a single "space" at the wrong place can ruin your masternode setup.

solaris.conf should look like this
Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=ANY_LONG_USERNAME
rpcpassword=ANY_LONG_PASSWORD
staking=1
server=1
listen=1
port=port
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=YOUR_EXT_IP:PORT
externalip=YOUR_EXT_IP:PORT
masternodeprivkey=MN_PRIVKEY
addnode=78.145.45.173
addnode=92.108.70.246
addnode=89.169.62.37
addnode=89.65.73.101

masternodes.conf should look like this
Code:
MASTERNODE_ALIAS VPS_IP:PORT Private_key TX_ID TX_INDEX

You can find this in the guide
If its about sight, you can get help from someone who can see clearly if its still not clear

use 60020 for  your port

What if my own exernal IP is dynamic?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that it requires a fixed IP address (that would be standard for masternode coins). That's why many people rent a VPS to set it up, or pay for a service that includes VPS and setup done by them etc.... I have contacted NODEShare about Solaris and they have expressed interest in adding it. They pretty much do it all for you and I think would be worth the fee they charge if they do choose to add Solaris.

http://nodeshare.in/

Also I see that Node-VPS has added Solaris, but I'm not sure if they offer setup services or if they are just providing the VPS with fixed IP etc.... has anyone used them before?

Perfect, that's all I needed to know. Smiley  Hopefully Nova can list it on the new chain but I wanna grab the old one for now before the price gets too high.
