There are some really good Altcoins (like Litecoin, Waves) for fast transactions and I prefer to use Altcoin when transferring money wherever it available, however when we need to withdraw money I think the best option is Bitcoin.

Yeah. Most altcoins nowadays are ultra-fast in transaction processing times when compared to Bitcoin. With altcoins such as Litecoin, Waves, Ark, Ripple, Stellar, and Bitshares, transactions could get settle from a few seconds to just a few minutes. On the other hand, transactions on Bitcoin's ledger are extremely slow and take hours before they become fully confirmed on the network. As such, I believe that altcoins will become the top choice for anyone who's looking to send money in a fast and cheap way. Right now, the fastest cryptocurrencies are Bitshares, Ripple, ARK, and Stellar, but once Bitcoin's Lightning Network becomes active and highly adopted in the mainstream world, then Bitcoin would become the fastest cryptocurrency in existence with near-instant speeds in transaction processing time. Just my opinion

As Bitcoin becomes slower each day in transaction confirmation time, other alternatives could prove to become useful for everyday transactions. Cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, Dogecoin, and even Ethereum have faster transaction confirmation time allowing you to send and receive coins at a hassle-free way. Thus, among the wide variety of altcoins, many have block times which are near instantaneous. Based on these facts, which cryptocurrencies do you consider the fastest? I would appreciate if you would list it or them here. Well, for me it's really difficult to tell you which is the fastest. Today every new project claim to be "the fastest crypto", but in reality it's always kinda difficult. Maybe when Seele comes out - it may become the fastest...

No one is the fastest, it all depends on the transaction volume at the time that your transaction went through and if the transactions volumes increases then the transaction times become slower and transaction fees will increase. They all have their good times and their bad times and in bull markets, the coins and their transactions becomes slower due to increased transactions

As I know - the fastest current working blockchain is BitShares. 100 000 transactions per sec. This is crazy DigiByte is pretty nice too: it has the fastest block speed of any public UTXO blockchain in the world today with 15 second block timings

I think STEEM is one of the fastest if I am not mistaken. I think it can do exponentially more transactions per second than Ethereum or Bitcoin can right now. Bitcoin needs some major improvements to stay on top.

I can't say for sure, but one of the fastest cryptocurrencies is the nem cryptocurrency – 4000 operations per second. The platform offers some of the fastest cryptocurrency transactions. The main direction of development is the organization to provide services and collect currency on the ICO. With the help of blockchain, you can conveniently convert different tokens into real currency.
Cooperation is conducted with the largest company DigitalEconomyCorporation. NEM has some technical issues and the development team is actively working on it.

That's certainly true, mate. It's hard to know with certainty which cryptocurrency is the fastest, since many factors can determine their speed. Factors such as a lot of users making transactions on a ledger, can dampen the speed of a cryptocurrency and make fees rise to the moon. This is happening with Bitcoin right now, where it once stood to be fast since it didn't have a lot of users transacting in its ledger. The moment Bitcoin became adopted in the mainstream world, was such were transaction speeds became slower and fees higher. Therefore, such situations could happen with any cryptocurrency nowadays, even those who claim that are the fastest in existence. Depending on the load, will be their speed to process transactions within a given amount of time. Things aside, I think that Ripple, Stellar, and Bitshares could remain fast as they have higher capacity in transaction throughput than many cryptocurrencies we know and love today. Just my thoughts

In my opinion is NANO , this coin has faster and no fee transaction. Beside NANO others coin is DASH, WAVES and DGB. And more others project want solved about scalability issue like ZIL and this is good thing for development of blockchain technology so will be much better for many industry.

Dash has InstantSend, which is about 2 seconds and gives you 4 confirmations on a transaction. It also has that transaction locked to prevent double-spending.
Yes. It is one of my favorite cryptocurrencies because of this feature. I'm not sure if there would exist a much faster cryptocurrency, but so far it seems like Dash has the lead. It also has a block size limit of 2MB in contrast to Bitcoin, with its never ending block size debate. about cryptocurency is fastes transaction and confirmation i think is the best dogecoin , and dogecoin is very low fee sending too, so is enjoy use dogecoin
I think so too. Especially for micropayments, as it makes it an ideal cryptocurrency to tip others. Due to its inexpensive nature, it is very easy to obtain, allowing anyone to get into it and learn more about cryptocurrencies. Yes, we have the same opinion and experince that dogecoin is one of the fastest coin. I have enjoyed it in using this coin since I have joined in crypto activitities. I think there should be a general regulation relating to crypto transactions to improve service to crypto users.

Digital currencies which are not demanded much, could be faster.
I think a good and precise cryptocurrency like Litecoin, Dogecoin and now Ethereum which has fast growth and has the fastest transaction confirmation and is much liked by people because it has grown and advantages that are not available on other altcoins

Well, I'm sure that Stellar would find a way to prevent such situations from occurring again. The key here is not only speed in transactions but also user-friendliness to promote usage of the cryptocurrency. So far, I haven't had any troubles using XLM for my daily transactions. However, the issue you've mentioned needs to be addressed to prevent loss of funds by even the most non-tech savvy person. Despite this, there's no doubt that XLM is among the fastest cryptocurrencies in existence today. Since it's similar to Ripple's XRP cryptocurrency, transactions settle within seconds using the least amount of energy possible (unlike Bitcoin). In my opinion is NANO , this coin has faster and no fee transaction. Beside NANO others coin is DASH, WAVES and DGB. And more others project want solved about scalability issue like ZIL and this is good thing for development of blockchain technology so will be much better for many industry.
Agree. NANO is probably the fastest cryptocurrency in existence alongside Stellar and Ripple. As transactions settle instantly and without fees, I think that there's a bright future for NANO. It could easily be used for micropayments or nearly anything you could think off without having to worry about fees or waiting for hours to get your transaction confirmed. Being a DAG cryptocurrency, I think that this technology has the potential of replacing Blockchain 1.0 cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin in the long term. However, only time will tell whenever these cryptocurrencies could become popular and adopted by the mainstream world. Just my opinion

it seems to me that now there is no cryptocurrency faster than Ethereum on the market. I am sure that Ethereum is a leader in this regard
There is no doubt that Ethereum is extremely fast when compared to Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies in existence. However, it can sometimes become extremely slow due to high network load. The CryptoKitties dApp, has made the Ethereum network very slow, due to its popularity in the mainstream world. As such, even if Ethereum is fast, that speed would be reduced according to the number of users on its network. This usually applies to nearly any cryptocurrency in existence, no matter which technology does it have. Until today, I haven't seen a cryptocurrency which is infinitely scalable (or has unlimited scalability). Any coin no matter how fast it is, will eventually become slow as more people join its network. Which is why I believe that until a new cryptocurrency comes in with unlimited scalability, the level of adoption of cryptocurrencies in the mainstream world would stale. Nevertheless, there are still a few cryptocurrencies (aside from Ethereum) which are extremely fast. Usually the ones with DAG technology are the fastest including (but not limited to): NANO, IOTA, and ByteBall. There's a newly announced coin called Hedera Hashgraph which claims to be far superior than Bitcoin and Ethereum in terms of scalability. According to their technology, it could be an extremely fast cryptocurrency once released. Just my thoughts
