I am really excited about the potential for Sia. I will keep HODLING, as I have hopes that it will be much bigger than it is now. I really like David Voricks vision, he seems genuine. Maybe I am looking at this all wrong, but I aside from the technology behind Sia, I am a fan of the founders ;-)

I am sure that sia will be much higer once the asics goes online.... I really woudnt be surprice to see even 5 to 8 usd prices. Normaly once coins reach above 1USD and are legemit like siacoins they move up hard after that,

right now daily price dip is 12%, red candle obvious and more than that siacoin always fluctuates with bitcoin price so no light on the horizon. In my opinion situation will get worse but for the others it is right time to jump in and buy more coins.

It cant have USD ATH when Bitcoin is at 1/3 of its Decembers value. And I dont believe SIA will be worth over 800 satoshi as is BTC ATH.  Kicking out ASIC miners will have positive impact on SIA price but that will not be an instant event.

In any case, a cryptocurrency will never compete with the dollar or hard currency. This has been repeatedly stated by financial experts.

I am quite positive it will. As a currency a crypto is by far strongest. Monero is perfect digital money. It will happen sooner or latter an national currency of today will get replaced by global fair launched digital cash.

But this is somehow not related to the topic and Sia. Sia have different use case then a global digital cash. Also an important usecase that will be valuable and used in future.

I think that yes, all these forecasts are not worth paying attention to, since ETH lovers also expected a lot from Cosmopolitan updates, but apparently nothing good will happen from this.

Bought sia for 50 satoshi sold it couple weeks later for 450 satoshi never looked back.. I dont expect mooning from this coin.. This coin is not a top10 or top20 coin.

its 800+ sats price 1.5y ago...its very undervalued currently

and I 'still' can't build such storage with "used' equipment and make even 1/4 of my investment back.

hardly encouraging from the point of view of their vision.

just saying....see a lot of Sia-tech ASIC equip sales and a lot of pumping up the difficulty and siacoin..the lagging part is the storage solution which seems dubious yet IMHO.
