@RogerVer, if you don't have 300k BTC, I have more realistic offer for you:

I GIVE YOU 1 BTU, YOU GIVE ME 1 BTC.

Hope you can afford such trade. If not,  please ask your Chinese miners to lend you 1 BTC.

Grin Grin still a nice ~1000 US$ you'd be making there.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I don't know if Roger is broke or just stupid. Zero dollars in the bug bounty despite being approached with zero-days?!

Anyway.

At least put a few thousand for the pooled bet? or are you going to hide after bluffing the whole community this badly?

not stupid if you buy alot of alts, make drama, sell alts & buy bitcoin. and that is what Roger did. he made some large OTC trades in the past with alts...

And then he gambled and lost a everything , that could explain his behaviour.
hes not giving any bug bounty and his not signing ownership.
of any bitcoin he controles.
in other words he and his btc-u are a joke.
its hard for his believers

@RogerVer I also accept a 1:1 trade for a lesser amount should you be interested.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the world, and lose his own soul?

This over the counter carry trade thread has been carried away somehow.. honestly pure pettifoggers will take this debacle exactly nowhere.

This thread reminds me of Matthew N Wright's pirate Ponzi bet thread, except Matt was stupid enough to accept the bets. At least Ver isn't that stupid.

I made a decent amount on that one, although he couldn't pay it fully. I respect his effort, not so much his gullibility.

Yeah, he was either a naive gullible fool or that Texas redneck Trendon Shavers paid him to run that thread. I never figured out which.

Roger said he would and respond in 48hrs .,...
then he does not , this tells me he is a fake.
he does not own any substantial bitcoins like loaded does.
More important the guy does not believe in his own coin!
He wants people to believe in.

Roger, I found another offer on Reddit for 500 BTC. Just in case you missed it.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/61zpay/requesting_roger_to_exchange_500_core_for_500/

Requesting Roger to exchange 500 Core for 500 Unlimited

Since it seems there are some issues with the deal with loaded, why not at least trade 500 btc to start with under the same deal? If we can close it for 500 I'm willing to put more later and I'm sure other people will follow.
I encourage everyone that is willing to take the deal with Roger to post a comment with a signed message and the amount they're willing to exchange.

@RogerVer, if you don't have 300k BTC, I have more realistic offer for you:

I GIVE YOU 1 BTU, YOU GIVE ME 1 BTC.

Hope you can afford such trade. If not,  please ask your Chinese miners to lend you 1 BTC.

There is no need to do that. After the successful hard fork, there will be only one coin, that is the bitcoin or BTU.

Wrong. There will be two Chains: BTC & BTU. BTU will be the Altcoin with no Value. Miners will see loss in mining & will switch back to BTC..

Maybe someone should also propose and provide odds if Roger Ver accepts the trade or not. I think Roger will not accept the trade, he knows he can lose a lot of value if he does. But if he accepts then you have to think that he knows something about BTC going down. The Chinese miners killing it perhaps?
None of you understand what is going on.  There is no way for Ver to accept such a bet.  And the exchanges ARE the bookeepers, and they can't legitimately set this bet up without a fork.  And so NO ONE is going to seriously take the position that Ver is going to put his fortune on the line for this.

No such market can exist because there is no place to throw ones money away betting on Ver and no one would throw their money in such a black hole anyways.

It's all bluff.

Keep in mind, I am the best poker player in the world: https://thewealthofchips.wordpress.com/

Then should we be confident that Bitcoin Unlimited will fail in the end? If Roger Ver cannot put where his mouth is then we know that there is an expectation that it will.

Roger Ver should put up or shut up.

Bu has already failed. Too much buggy. They have a President too. Fully Centralized. They will never reach minimum Hashrate to Fork.

Big Blocks is just a cover to earn more money. With Bigger Blocks Big Pools will recieve More fees & small Miners will struggle & they will eventually shift to BTC again..

as andreas explains here bitcoin is a 20.000.000.000 industry and people want to attack it.

this BTU deal is like bribing a decentralised network, which is not really working even if they accepted the fund. and assume that they might run it out.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason
